Job DescriptionCompany Description Nurse Practitioner – Inpatient Neurology (Neuro Hospitalist) | Arlington, TX Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off (12-hour shifts) Compensation: $120,000 – $155,000 annually (based on experience) Sign-On Bonus: Available Relocation Assistance: Available Job Description Overview A high-volume neurology and stroke program in Arlington, TX is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to support its inpatient neuro hospitalist service. This role is part of a hybrid neurology model where inpatient providers must be efficient, autonomous, and capable of managing high patient volumes while coordinating closely with neurologists across both hospital and clinic workflows. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, fast-moving, and requires minimal ramp-up, with the ability to manage complex neurological cases independently. Responsibilities • Manage inpatient neurology and stroke patients across acute care, step-down, and ICU settings, • Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and develop treatment plans, • Participate in acute stroke response and rapid evaluation workflows, • Collaborate directly with neurologists, hospitalists, and interdisciplinary teams, • Interpret diagnostic studies including imaging and lab results, • Manage high-acuity conditions such as stroke, seizures, encephalopathy, and neurotrauma, • Support efficient patient throughput, discharge planning, and transitions of care, • Document accurately and efficiently within the EMR, • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teamsQualifications Required • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, • Active Texas NP license (or in process with clear timeline), • Board Certification: AGACNP or ACNP strongly preferred, • Minimum 2+ years of inpatient/hospital-based NP experience, • Neurology, stroke, or neurocritical care experience, • Experience in stroke protocols, ICU-level care, or hospitalist workflows, • Familiarity with EEG, lumbar puncture, or neuro diagnostics Additional Information Compensation & Benefits • Salary: $120,000 – $155,000 annually, • Performance-based incentives, • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • 401(k) with employer match, • Paid Time Off (PTO), • CME and professional development support, • Relocation assistance (case-by-case) This role is best suited for a Nurse Practitioner who: • Has strong inpatient experience and can hit the ground running, • Is comfortable managing high patient volume and acuity, • Works efficiently with minimal supervision, • Communicates well and collaborates across a hybrid care model Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care NP, AGACNP Jobs Texas, Neuro Hospitalist, Inpatient Neurology, Stroke NP, Hospitalist NP, Arlington TX NP Jobs, Advanced Practice Provider
