Details • Breast Imaging department within an acute care hospital setting, • Modalities include mammography, biopsies, ultrasound, and bone density, • 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, • On-call may be required Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of leadership/management experience in imaging, • Active ARRT-M or ARRT-R certification required, • Current BLS certification (AHA only), • MRT required, • Active TX license required, if applicable, • Bachelor's degree preferred, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, electronic medical documentation, scheduling, and payroll systems, • 2 professional references required for consideration, • DOB and SSN required for consideration, • Flu shot required; no exemptions accepted Additional Information • Responsible for assisting the Director in managing, planning, organizing, and improving work processes within Breast Imaging services, • Oversees staffing patterns, scheduling, PTO approvals, and leave of absence requests, • Conducts interviews, hiring, performance evaluations, staff development, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR, • Ensures department compliance with Joint Commission (JCAHO), Texas Department of Health (TDH), and other accrediting body standards, • Leads multidisciplinary staff meetings and collaborates with physicians and other medical departments, • Manages operational budgets and implements corrective action plans for variances, • Coordinates patient safety, quality improvement, employee engagement, and performance improvement initiatives, • Acts as Director when required, • Must maintain current knowledge of imaging trends, techniques, protocols, and equipment across patient populations including newborn through geriatric, • Black scrubs required About American Traveler With over 25 years of experience, American Traveler has established a reputation for outstanding customer service.
