This role is ideal for an experienced ER nurse who values autonomy, strong clinical variety, and meaningful work in a close-knit rural hospital setting. Position Overview • Permanent, full-time role, • 36 hours per week, • Day shift, • 3x12-hour schedule, • Emergency Department setting, • Float support to Acute Care as needed, • TruBridge – Evident charting systemShift Details, • Day shift, • Three 12-hour shifts weekly, • Predictable scheduling handled by leadership, • Weekend rotation typically required, • Holiday rotation may apply, • No call requirementCompensation & Benefits, • $41.04 – $67.32 per hour, • $76,826 – $126,023 annually based on experience, • Full benefits package, • Stable direct hire employment, • Long-term growth opportunityKey Responsibilities, • Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of patient acuity, • Triage and assess incoming patients, • Manage trauma, stroke, STEMI, and critical care presentations, • Start IVs, draw labs, and administer medications, • Manage critical drips including vasoactive medications, • Perform EKGs and assist with respiratory interventions when needed, • Monitor ventilated patients until transfer if necessary, • Collaborate closely with providers and multidisciplinary staff, • Float to Acute Care area to assist as neededUnit & Clinical Environment, • Small community Emergency Department, • Approximately 17–32 patients per day, • Level IV Trauma environment, • STEMI and stroke receiving with transfer capability, • 1:3–1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios depending on acuity, • 1:1 assignments for high-acuity patients when needed, • GE telemetry monitorsRequirements, • Active Washington RN license, • BLS required, • ACLS required, • PALS required, • 2+ years of ER experience required, • Prior trauma experience required, • Strong IV skills required, • Ability to work independently and remain flexiblePreferred Qualifications, • TNCC Why Tonasket, Washington • Beautiful North Central Washington setting, • Access to hiking, lakes, mountains, and outdoor recreation, • Lower cost of living than many larger Washington markets, • Tight-knit community atmosphere, • Meaningful work with strong lifestyle balanceJob Type: Full-time Benefits: • Health insurance, • Dental insurance, • Vision insurance, • Paid time off, • Retirement plan, • Professional development opportunitiesWork Location: In person Medical Solutions Direct Hire Job ID #1092189.
