Job Description Kimes Ranch is seeking a Technology Manager to own and operate day-to-day technology across the organization. This is a hands-on, execution-driven role, not a purely strategic or purely managerial position. You will be responsible for ensuring systems are reliable, secure, highly available, and aligned with operational needs across warehousing, fulfillment, finance, and leadership. This role requires calm, professional execution under pressure, strong communication skills, and the ability to take ownership in a fast-moving, operations-first environment. Key Responsibilities Systems & Infrastructure • Own and manage company technology systems including servers, Hyper-V virtualization, networking, endpoints, and user access, • Administer Active Directory / Entra ID, including users, groups, role-based access, and least-privilege controls, • Design, implement, and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for security, configuration standards, and compliance, • Manage Hyper-V virtual environments, including VM lifecycle, capacity planning, backups, and availability, • Oversee endpoint lifecycle management (Windows and macOS), including provisioning, patching, monitoring, and decommissioning, • Manage internal networking including VPNs, DNS, DHCP, authentication services, and inter-site connectivity, • Ensure system uptime through monitoring, alerting, backup strategies, and baseline security best practices, • Partner closely with Operations, Fulfillment, and Finance to support business-critical workflows, • Support and administer Salesforce CRM, including user access, roles, permissions, and operational alignment, • Support and maintain core business systems including ERP, inventory, fulfillment, and retail platforms, • Act as a first-response and escalation owner for production-impacting technology issues, • Lead or support system upgrades, migrations, rollouts, and process changes, • Translate operational pain points into practical, supportable technical solutions, • Serve as a senior escalation point for internal technology issues, • Communicate clearly, respectfully, and effectively with users at all levels of the organization, • Own employee onboarding and offboarding from a systems, access, and equipment perspective, • Ensure timely and accurate provisioning and revocation of access across systems and platforms, • Enforce technology policies, access controls, security standards, and acceptable-use guidelines, • Maintain professionalism and constructive communication at all times, especially under pressure, • Identify, document, and escalate risks or gaps factually and appropriately, • 5+ years of experience in IT, systems administration, or technology operations, • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent professional certifications and experience, • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity/access management, • Demonstrated experience managing Hyper-V virtualized environments, • Experience administering or supporting Salesforce CRM in an operational environment, • Strong understanding of infrastructure, SaaS platforms, and business-critical systems, • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment without unprofessional behavior, • Clear written and verbal communication skills, • Experience in apparel, retail, eCommerce, or distribution environments, • Familiarity with BlueCherry, Shopify, POS systems, WMS platforms, or similar operational systems, • Experience working with vendors, MSPs, and third-party consultants as needed, • Comfort owning systems while selectively leveraging external experts for specialized work, • Hands-on, on-site collaboration with Operations and Fulfillment teams, • Fast-paced environment requiring accountability, adaptability, and ownership, • Willingness to own outcomes, even when leveraging outside consultants for specialized expertise We believe our team members are family.
