Job Description Now Hiring: Residential Service Manager Location: CHOR Youth & Family Services | Germantown, PA Pay: $28.00 per hour Shifts: Varied Job Type: Full-Time POSITION STATEMENT: • Oversees residential programming and staff. Assists in developing and implementing programmatic policies. Professionally represents agency. Completes relevant tasks and paperwork necessary for daily operations. Abide by all MCO, DHS, and COA standards and policies. Ensure Shift Supervisors and Youth Consolers utilize EHR in a consistent and effective fashion., • Assists in the interviewing, hiring, and training of new residential staff, monitoring timeline and completion of required orientation training per DHS, MCO, and COA policies., • Directly supervises Shift Supervisors. Participates in a team approach with Director for monthly team supervision and for yearly performance evaluations of Shift Supervisors., • Implements and oversees residential programming, ensuring safety standards and appropriate participation in recreational community activities., • Creates Monthly Activities calendar and ensures staff implementation and participation., • Problem solves and reports on programmatic issues in staff, team, and supervisors’ meetings., • Attends all mandatory residential Staff Meetings, Supervisor Meetings, and Team Meetings., • Monitors shift scheduling of Shift Supervisors and Youth Consolers., • Remains reachable by phone during after-hours for residential matters and emergencies., • Must be available to work PM shifts, weekends and Holidays, • Maintains supplies for residents’ necessities (i.e. bedding, towels, clothing, hygiene products, etc.)., • Periodically fill in for Shift Supervisors and Youth Consolers to ensure compliance with ratios. Fill in on shift when necessary., • Performs other job duties as assigned. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions., • Bachelor’s Degree and two years’ experience working with youth post education associate degree plus three years’ experience working with youth post education., • Must be at least 21 Years of Age, • Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record, • Bachelor's Degree plus one year relevant experience., • Required to work on weekends as scheduled by supervisor., • Must past all pre-employment physical, drug screening includes background clearances (Child, Criminal, FBI, and DMV), • Must pass both federal and state background checks which screen for crimes including, but not limited to drug related crimes, violent crimes, sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and repeated misdemeanors., • Ability to demonstrate basic oral, written, and verbal communication., • Must attend all required trainings followed by shadowing prior to working on the unit., • Ability to work effectively among various levels of behaviors and maintain an atmosphere of safety, support, and guidance to ensure a positive environment.
