We are looking for a Technical Specialist to test and inspect assigned products to determine if the products are performing at appropriate levels for sale to our customers. The Technical Specialist is responsible for testing, inspecting and documenting the performance of refurbished products to ensure they meet operational standards for resale. This role supports the development, documentation and implementation of consistent testing procedures across all facilities. The Technical Specialist collaborates closely with operations, engineering and quality teams to identify process improvements, maintain testing equipment and ensure accuracy and reliability in all test environments. What you'll be doing: • Assist in developing new test processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that align with operational goals and efficiency standards., • Train and support testing associates and production teams on updated test procedures and equipment operation., • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software or configuration issues related to test equipment or products., • Recommend and evaluate new hardware and software tools to enhance testing capability and stay competitive in the marketplace., • Collaborate with management and engineering to design and refine test automation systems and improve process flow., • Assist with customer configurations and technical escalations as required, including testing setups for compatibility or performance validation., • Provide analysis and recommendations for network or product redesigns based on testing outcomes or recurring issues., • Work with IT and technical support teams to identify and resolve integration or connectivity challenges affecting product performance., • Communicate with customers or internal stakeholders regarding defective, damaged or non-conforming products and provide guidance for resolution., • Maintain testing documentation and version control to ensure all procedures and methods remain current as products and systems evolve., • Support cross-site collaboration by sharing best practices and ensuring testing procedures are implemented consistently company-wide., • Assist management in identifying continuous improvement opportunities to increase test throughput, accuracy and reliability., • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned to support operational and project goals., • Test and inspect assigned products (voice, data and related equipment) to verify performance and functionality prior to sale, • Document and maintain detailed testing procedures for all product lines to ensure consistency and repeatability across all facilities. What we're looking for: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Networking or in lieu of degree equivalent experience., • Three years’ experience in a test lab or networking environment., • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals., • Proficiency in Windows OS and PCs., • Effective verbal and written communication skills., • Ability to document complex procedures., • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
