Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Kitter Job Description The Warehouse Kitter prepares and organizes materials and components needed for production by accurately picking parts, assembling kits based on work orders or build lists, and ensuring all items are ready and available for the production team. This role supports efficient production operations through careful inventory handling, precise labeling, and timely material flow within the warehouse. Responsibilities • Pick and assemble components into complete kits according to work orders, build lists, and production requirements., • Count inventory accurately to ensure stock levels are correct and materials are available for production., • Package components carefully to protect materials and maintain organization throughout the kitting process., • Split material lots as needed to support multiple work orders and production runs., • Perform periodic cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies., • Label printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other components clearly and correctly according to established procedures., • Put away materials in designated locations and maintain orderly, well-organized storage areas., • Receive incoming materials, verify quantities and part numbers, and update inventory records., • Use data entry tools and systems to record inventory movements, kitting status, and material transactions., • Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure kits are delivered on time and meet quality standards., • Lift and move materials weighing up to 30 lbs safely and in accordance with workplace guidelines., • Follow all warehouse procedures and safety practices to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.Essential Skills, • 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, inventory, or kitting role., • Hands-on experience with inventory control and inventory management., • Proficiency in performing cycle counts and maintaining accurate stock records., • Ability to perform shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying quantities and part numbers., • Skill in labeling components and materials clearly and accurately., • Capability to lift and handle items up to 30 lbs safely., • Experience with data entry related to inventory and material transactions., • Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems., • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for recording and tracking information., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling materials and documentation., • Effective customer service mindset when interacting with internal teams and stakeholders.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience working with electronic components and PCBs in a warehouse or production environment., • Comfort working with structured work orders, build lists, and production documentation., • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting., • Strong organizational skills to maintain orderly storage and kitting areas., • Good communication skills to collaborate with production, warehouse, and support teams.Why Work Here? Appropriate attire suitable for a warehouse and electronic components handling environment is expected, with adherence to all safety and handling procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
