We are seeking a charismatic and talented individual to serve as the Director of Community Relations at our beautiful community of The Bristal Assisted Living at North Hills. The ideal candidate will possess sales and business development experience in an assisted living, healthcare, hospitality or similar environment. To excel in this role, you should hold a thorough working knowledge of the industry and be able to market our exceptional, one-of-a-kind assisted living residences and services to the surrounding community with great expertise, professionalism and panache. This position will require both inside sales and outreach to the community to generate leads and cultivate new business referral sources. Knowledge of referral sources in your geographical area is preferred. This position will be 80% Inside Sales and 20% Outreach (one day per week). Additional responsibilities include: • Greeting all visitors in a warm, friendly and engaging manner, • Answering inquiry calls with a professional demeanor and obtaining the most information about the caller in an effort to schedule a visit, • Strategically collaborating with the Executive Director to create an effective resident referral program and converting those referrals to residents, • Conducting tours of the community for prospective residents and their families; appointments to be pre-planned and well thought out, • Understanding the Salesforce system and maintaining an active prospect database, • Collaborating with The Bristal and other community referral sources, • Following sales training systems and incorporating, where appropriate, the methods found in sales training manuals on public file, • Following up regularly with prospective residents, and making a minimum number of outgoing calls per day with the goal of scheduling visits, • Following up regularly with referral sources and allocating one day of outreach per week to doctors, elder law attorneys, hospitals, rehabs, etc., • Completing all required move-in paperwork and collecting rent monies due prior to move-in and assisting new residents in getting acclimated, • Managing all marketing inventory, as directed, • Creating and/or hosting various marketing and sales events, • Conduct ongoing networking with outside referral sources, • Belonging to and attending SUN (Senior Umbrella Network) as well as attending at least one additional local community association’s meeting each month for the purpose of attaining leads and community visits, • Overseeing the accuracy of available apartment inventory, • Maintaining weekly traffic and census reports and completing a weekly outreach report Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred, • Sales or business development experience in an assisted living, healthcare, hospitality or similar environment preferred, • A proven ability to meet or exceed sales objectives, • Must have the ability to “close the deal”, • Top-notch prospecting, networking, relationship-building and new business development skills, • Ability to connect as a trusted advocate and sell in a consultative manner, • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills a must, possessing the ability to clearly and calmly relate to and communicate concisely with a diverse group of people, • Professional image and an eye for excellence in detail, • Exceptional telephone and communication skills, • Ability to relate well to seniors, their families and their advocates, • Natural organizational skills with the ability to concentrate on many tasks at once, • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office, • Must be a Notary Public or be committed to obtaining a license within 6 months of hire, • Salary increases based on annual performance, • Annual team appreciation events, quarterly team appreciation bonuses, and an annual holiday bonus, • 401K plan, • AFLAC Benefits, • Company-paid life insurance policy, • PTO days, company-paid holidays, with a PTO cash-out option annually, • Optional lunch for all employees Benefits: • 401(k), • Dental insurance, • Employee assistance program, • Health insurance, • Life insurance, • Paid time off, • Professional development assistance, • Tuition reimbursement Experience: • Marketing: 1 year (Preferred), • Sales: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: • Driver's License (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: • North Hills, NY 11040: Relocate after starting work (Required) Work Location: In person

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS), particularly in areas such as Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Customer Complaints, Out of Specification (OOS) investigations, and conducting Internal Audits. The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving our quality management processes to uphold the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities: • Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) to ensure compliance with FDA regulations., • Lead and coordinate Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes, including investigation, root cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions, and effectiveness checks., • Handle Customer Complaints and Out of Specification (OOS) investigations, ensuring timely resolution and documentation according to regulatory requirements., • Conduct thorough Internal Audits to assess compliance with established quality procedures, identify areas for improvement, and develop corrective actions as needed., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide quality assurance guidance and support throughout all stages of operation., • Develop and maintain quality-related documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality records, equipment maintenance records in accordance with FDA regulations., • Verify that all laboratory instruments and equipment are calibrated and maintained according to established schedules and regulatory standards to ensure accuracy and compliance. Job Description DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Resident Experience & Service Excellence • Lead the move-in and first 30-day programs, including personal welcome receptions, post-move tours, introductions to residents, and structured check-ins at 10-day, 30-day, 60-day, and biannual intervals., • Manage communications with residents and families throughout the resident lifecycle (pre-admission, admission, maintenance, crisis, discharge), coordinating with ED and Case Manager to review service delivery failures., • Develop, implement, and enforce signature service standards covering greeting procedures, response times (24-hour non-urgent, 2-hour priority), complaint escalation, and resolution processes., • Establish service recovery protocols to ensure 95%+ resident satisfaction scores in non-care areas (Dining, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Programming)., • Collaborate with Culinary and Lifestyle teams to coordinate private family celebrations, holiday events, wine tastings, and cooking demonstrations., • Oversee seasonal décor updates and ensure alignment with brand standards in collaboration with Lifestyle Director., • Recruit, onboard, manage, and provide ongoing coaching to concierge team members (FT and PT)., • Provide guidance, but not direct oversight, to Dining Room and Housekeeping teams regarding service standards., • Develop monthly training programs covering senior-specific communication, hospitality practices, and sales-focused customer interactions., • Conduct quarterly performance reviews, implement recognition programs, and track hospitality service metrics using SOE standards in Power BI., • Oversee concierge operations, ensuring professional appearance, responsiveness, and hospitality-driven service., • Coordinate lifestyle activities, transportation, and entertainment bookings to enhance the resident experience., • Support alternative revenue initiatives, including guest dining, private event hosting, and premium service offerings., • Conduct daily walkthroughs of common areas, dining spaces, and high-traffic zones to identify and address issues immediately., • Participate in resident councils, suggestion programs, and satisfaction surveys, implementing action plans based on feedback., • Support sales team during prospective resident tours, highlighting hospitality standards and resident testimonials.
