What You'll Actually Be Doing You'll work directly with the CEO and COO — managing their time, owning their task lists, handling the things that would otherwise slow them down. You'll be in the room (and on the emails, and in the calendar) where decisions get made. This is a part-time, in-person role (~20 hours/week) at our downtown Houston office. For the right person, that's a feature — serious access, serious impact, without the 60-hour week. You'll also support the CEO in managing and improving the company's growing set of digital tools and AI automations. You don't need to be a developer — you need to be curious, fast-learning, and comfortable with technology. Compensation: $32 - $40 hourly Responsibilities: • Close the deal after creating, presenting, and negotiating a solution to your prospects, • Create a competitive analysis, identify industry and product trends, and position our brand as the clear and obvious choice, • Exceed monthly and quarterly revenue expectations and meet sales and lead generating activities goals to ensure future business, • Qualify prospective customers quickly by fact-finding to identify decision-makers, pain points, competition, budget, timeline, and other potential obstacles, • Initiate outgoing cold calling and emailing to potential customers, schedule in-person sales appointments, and follow up on client requests for information, • Manage calendars, meeting prep, follow-ups, and task tracking for the CEO and COO, • Anticipate executive needs proactively and remove obstacles before they become problems, • Own the executive task list end-to-end — nothing falls through the cracks, • Support the CEO in maintaining and improving company digital tools and AI automations, • Coordinate across HR, marketing, sales, and operations on projects and priorities, • Monitor project status and hold teams accountable to deadlines, • Team-focused, organized, self-starter with an orientation towards service, detail, problem-solving, and deadlines, • You love talking and meeting with prospects, presenting to them, closing the deal, and asking for referrals, • Ability to meet and exceed monthly quota in sales, • Prefer a minimum of 2+ years in outside sales experience, • High school diploma required and some industry or product knowledge preferred, • Obsessively organized — systems thinker who lets nothing slip, • Proactive by nature — anticipates needs before being asked, • Curious about technology and comfortable learning new tools quickly, • Clear, direct, professional communicator in writing and in person, • Absolutely discreet with sensitive executive information, • Prior experience supporting senior executives strongly preferred If you're the kind of person who loves helping others, solves problems with a smile, and thrives in a fast-moving environment, you’ll fit right in here.
