Quality & Consistency • Follow documented recipes, plating guides, and preparation standards precisely for every item produced., • Conduct self-checks during prep and service to ensure all cold items meet Bagatelle's quality, presentation, and timing expectations., • Taste, evaluate, and inspect products throughout production to ensure freshness and consistency., • Flag quality or consistency issues to kitchen leadership promptly and assist with corrections., • Maintain appropriate portion control and actively control and limit waste. Food Safety & Cold Chain Management • Maintain proper cold-holding temperatures and First-In, First-Out (FIFO) rotation for all cold station ingredients and prepared items., • Follow all NYC Department of Health regulations, HACCP cold food safety standards, and company sanitation procedures at all times., • Monitor and log refrigeration temperatures as required by department procedures and report any deviations immediately., • Properly label, date, and store all products; prevent cross-contamination and cross-contact, with particular attention to raw proteins, seafood, and allergens., • Immediately inform the Chef on Duty of any DOH, OSHA, or workplace safety concern or violation. Kitchen Operations • Complete opening, closing, and prep checklists as assigned, timely and thoroughly, in accordance with department standards., • Set up, clean, and fully stock the cold station by the start of each shift and maintain organized, clean, and efficient workstations and storage areas throughout service., • Monitor ingredient par levels at the cold station and communicate replenishment needs to kitchen leadership., • Assist with receiving, rotating, and properly storing cold station ingredients and deliveries to minimize waste., • Support inventory counts and help maintain accurate stock records., • Safely operate, clean, and maintain cold station equipment (slicers, mandolines, knives, and refrigeration); use equipment and tools only as intended and report equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly. Job Description GENERAL NATURE OF POSITION: The Residential Worker is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day function in the house. This includes quarterly reports, monthly reports, fire drill records, attendance records, weight charts, house receipts, daily logbook, etc. · The Residential Worker shall be trained by Real House, Inc.’s APN and will carry out the duties of Medication Technician · 11pm-7am During the hours of 11pm-7am, the House Manager will be offered adequate sleeping facilities by Real House, Inc. · 7am-3pm (7am-9am) Responsibilities include providing assistance to the extent necessary for each of the individuals in the home to prepare for their day. That includes assisting with all personal hygiene tasks, dressing, preparing breakfast and cleaning up afterwards. (9am-3pm) During this shift the House Manager is considered “on call”, however remaining on the premises is typically not necessary. Being “on call” requires that you leave information with your supervisor as to where you may be reached. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Engages residents in activities of daily living to the extent of their ability and supports individual needs in areas of shopping, meal preparation, cleaning, bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, grooming and hygiene., • Supports individual health and service plans (HSP/ISP) or other goals and objectives; regularly observe, identify, document and report changes in health and / behavior., • Perform household chores as needed and assist residents to determine social, recreational, or educational activities of choice., • Adhering to standard health precautions, ensure well-being of residents by monitoring individual health, administering medication as prescribed., • Inspects individual equipment and furnishings for proper functioning and reports malfunctions to supervisor., • Ensure that safe and reliable transportation is available to residents. Drives van or other vehicle; escorts residents to scheduled programs or other activities, recreational opportunities, or medical appointments as assigned by supervisor., • Prepares and communicates written progress notes relating to medication administration, individual daily activities, medical emergencies and other related areas as required by supervisor., • Interacts with residents’ family members and friends, facilitate communications and engagement within the community., • Attending and participating in staff meetings may assist residents to participate in house meetings, • Performs other related tasks as required by Group Home Manager, • Maintain a clean and safe working environment; rotation of household chores and adhere to standard health precautions., • Adhere to all PILLAR policies and procedures. Qualifications: • At least 18 years of age (Insurance Purposes), • HS Diploma or GED, • 1-2 Years of successful employment with the same establishment or agency, • 1 year experience supporting adults/children with developmental disabilities preferred, • Successful completion of criminal background history and fingerprint examination, • Valid driver's license with fewer than 4 points.
