Job Description Location: Williamsville, NY, 14221 Pay: $18-$20/hour + Performance-Based Incentives Employment Type: Full-Time Join a Leader in Media and Advertising Innovation Media Sales Plus is expanding our sales team and seeking an Advertising Sales Specialist to drive new and existing business through innovative multi-media, digital, and print advertising solutions. You’ll play a key role in helping businesses reach their audiences and achieve measurable results through effective advertising strategies. Responsibilities Include • Actively develop and close new business by identifying, prospecting, and closing advertising sales opportunities., • Successfully sell the company’s and its clients’ digital and print advertising solutions via emails, phone calls, and, where applicable, in-person visits., • Become a subject matter expert in the company’s and its clients’ advertising solutions, adapting product recommendations to suit client needs by asking probing questions, overcoming objections, and closing sales., • Record all sales activity (prospecting, opportunities, revenue, and next steps) in CRM., • Execute sales tactics, implement marketing strategies, and deliver effective sales presentations both digitally and in person., • Achieve monthly sales objectives., • Assist the sales team in enhancing multimedia recommendations through research to meet customer expectations while utilizing our digital product suite., • Coordinate with various departments internally and externally to manage the creation and fulfillment of all advertising., • Enter and manage advertising orders in all applicable systems in accordance with established policies, guidelines, and deadlines., • Support completion of month-end reporting., • Bachelor’s Degree desired; Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing preferred., • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive sales experience with a proven track record of accomplishments., • Highly skilled and proficient in sales; media sales experience is a plus., • Strong oral and written communication skills., • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook., • Ability to multitask, manage multiple assignments, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented environment., • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills., • Outgoing personality with the ability to develop and foster strong business relationships., • Solid understanding of how to use digital media to educate advertisers on strategies and platforms that effectively reach, engage, and inform audiences., • In-depth knowledge and proficiency with research tools., • Understanding of marketing and advertising principles, as well as media concepts and terminology., • Ability and desire to work effectively in both team and independent environments., • Ability to work in an office or hybrid telecommuting environment., • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and satisfactory driving record., • Strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced, ever-evolving business environment., • Effective relationship-building, customer service, communication, and negotiation skills., • Superior business acumen related to new and traditional media, digital initiatives, and social media., • Previous media sales experience preferred with a demonstrated record of sales accomplishments., • Ability to communicate effectively, build rapport, and relate well to all types of clients and colleagues., • Competitive base pay plus performance-based incentives that reward your results., • Health, dental, 401(k), paid vacation, and holidays., • Credit Union Membership, Hands-On Training & Team Support.
