Job Description This full-time position is primarily a day shift position in the Information Services (IS) department. This role is responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing systems that support clinical, business, and operational workflows. The ideal candidate combines hands-on network administration with systems engineering expertise to maintain uptime, scalability, security, and compliance across the organization. Participation in an on-call rotation is required, beginning at the manager’s discretion based on the employee’s proficiency; the rotation consists of one week after departmental hours, typically occurring once every seven weeks, though it may vary depending on departmental needs and staffing levels. Qualifications: • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required (or equivalent experience)., • Experience working in healthcare or other regulated environments., • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or VMware certifications., • Experience with cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments., • Familiarity with monitoring tools, scripting, and automation., • Experience in telecommunications, cybersecurity, or cloud-based engineering environments. Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN environments., • Administer network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points., • Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity; proactively identify and resolve issues., • Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and network security controls., • Troubleshoot complex network issues across multiple sites and environments., • Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and configuration standards., • Design, deploy, and maintain server environments., • Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V., • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity services., • Support and maintain cloud and hybrid infrastructure, including Azure and Microsoft 365., • Apply cybersecurity best practices to protect systems, infrastructure, and organizational data.
