Job DescriptionJob Summary: CMM Programmer We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer to join our quality control team. This role involves programming and operating CMM equipment to inspect and verify precision components, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Develop, modify, and maintain CMM programs using software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or Zeiss, • Perform inspections using CMM and manual tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gauges), • Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles to inspection routines, • Document inspection results and generate reports for internal and customer use, • Collaborate with machinists and engineers to resolve non-conformances and improve inspection processes, • Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective actions for quality issues, • Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment and ensure compliance with ISO, AS9100, and other relevant standards, • Train junior inspectors and participate in internal GD&T workshops when needed, • Support customer audits and provide technical feedback on inspection capabilities Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required, • Minimum 1–5 years of experience in CMM programming and inspection, • Proficiency in GD&T, blueprint reading, and statistical process control (SPC), • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies, • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, • Excellent communication and documentation skills Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Carlstadt, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr. once perm: Medical, dental vision 401K match floating holidays, sick days, PTO Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Carlstadt,NJ.
