What You’ll Do: • Oversee all embedded systems development activities, ensuring alignment with product and technology goals., • Provide technical leadership, direction, and daily coaching to the embedded systems engineering team., • Manage project planning, workload prioritization, and resource allocation for firmware and software initiatives., • Lead design, development, and testing of embedded firmware/software for high-voltage power systems., • Drive product innovation using RTOS, bare-metal firmware, and advanced control architectures., • Collaborate with hardware, quality, manufacturing, and application teams to ensure product excellence., • Oversee preparation of technical documentation, reports, and release materials., • Guide implementation of revision control and release management processes., • Partner with global engineering, sales, and operations teams to align technology strategies with business goals., • Engage in long-term planning, product roadmapping, and new technology evaluation., • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)., • 15+ years of experience in power electronics, embedded systems, and firmware/software development., • 7+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams in global, manufacturing-driven organizations., • Expertise in power conversion, analog/magnetic design principles, and control systems., • Hands-on experience with DSPs, FPGAs, CPLDs, MCUs, and embedded Linux/RTOS development., • Strong background in C, Verilog, VHDL, C#, Java, and related control system programming., • Demonstrated success in project management, cross-functional collaboration, and product development., • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills., • Drive technical innovation for products that power the world’s most advanced technologies., • Lead a global team at the forefront of embedded systems design for high-performance applications., • Collaborate in a culture that values engineering excellence, creativity, and long-term growth., • Enjoy the stability of a family-owned organization with a 75-year legacy of success., • Access global collaboration opportunities and professional advancement in a growing industry.Our client asked me to submit 3 great people within the next few days.
