Dobbins Co. is a sanitary processing equipment distributor serving food, beverage, and industrial customers. We provide parts, equipment, technical / engineering support, and customer service to companies that rely on uptime, responsiveness, and product knowledge. We are looking for a dependable, organized, customer-focused person to support our Lakeland office in a hybrid role that includes inside sales, customer service, quote/order follow-up, and office coordination. Position Summary The Branch Sales & Office Coordinator will be a key point of contact for customers, vendors, salespeople, warehouse, and accounting. This person will help customers get answers, enter and follow up on quotes and orders, coordinate lead times and backorders, support office workflow, and help keep the Lakeland branch running smoothly. This is a great role for someone with experience in inside sales, customer service, sales support, branch coordination, office management, industrial distribution, manufacturing support, or B2B customer service. What You’ll Do • Answer customer calls and emails professionally and promptly., • Create, enter, and follow up on customer quotes and orders., • Coordinate with vendors on pricing, availability, lead times, and order status., • Work with warehouse and operations to track shipments, backorders, deliveries, and customer needs., • Communicate clearly with customers about lead times, order updates, substitutions, and issues., • Support outside salespeople with quotes, order entry, customer follow-up, and account support., • Help manage open quotes and make sure customer follow-up does not fall through the cracks., • Coordinate with accounting on customer setup, invoices, credits, payment questions, and documentation., • Help maintain organized office workflow., • Support basic administrative needs such as mail, supplies, local office coordination, and documentation., • Follow company procedures for pricing, freight, returns, credits, and customer communication., • 3+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, sales support, office coordination, branch administration, or a similar role., • Experience in B2B customer service strongly preferred., • Experience in sanitary / industrial distribution, manufacturing, food processing, equipment, parts, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, MRO, packaging, or similar industries is a plus., • Strong organization and follow-through., • Comfortable handling multiple customer requests at once., • Clear and professional communication style., • Detail-oriented with accurate order entry and documentation habits., • Comfortable learning technical products and industry terminology., • Able to work with customers, vendors, sales, warehouse, and accounting., • Reliable, steady, and proactive. The right person will be responsive, organized, accurate, and dependable. Customers should feel taken care of. Salespeople should feel supported. Warehouse and accounting should get clear information. Open quotes and orders should be followed up on consistently. The office should run more smoothly because this person is in the seat. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is helpful but not required: • Industrial distribution, • Inside sales, • Sales support, • Customer service for a B2B company, • Order entry, • Quoting, • Vendor coordination, • Parts or equipment sales, • Manufacturing support, • Food/beverage processing, • Pumps, valves, fittings, seals, or sanitary processing equipment The expected base salary range is $58,000–$68,000, depending on experience. Strong candidates with relevant industrial distribution or inside sales experience may be considered above this range. A potential bonus opportunity is available based on performance, customer responsiveness, order accuracy, quote follow-up, and branch/team results.
