We Need: * Art teachers that are able to travel across Morris County, NJ to bring One River’s art programs to new communities * Studio Art Teachers Pre-K-Adult Qualifications/ Requirements: * 2+ years of experience teaching art classes * BFA or BS Art Education or related field * Thoughtful communication skills * A passion for One River School's mission * MUST have reliable means of transportation to get to each location punctually * Based on applicants availability, travel to multiple locations Responsibilities: * Facilitate art lessons provided by One River School for a variety of community spaces at their location (libraries, community centers, after-school programs, retirement communities, camps, etc.) * Must be able to teach weekly sessions that can run from 4-12 weeks * Set up/clean up art lessons at the offsite location * Connect with all students to make for an engaging experience Skills * Understanding of various art media * Organization of project outcomes * Behavior management of groups * Ability to offer differentiated instruction to a variety of students * Ability to offer thoughtful feedback to students * Verbal Communication You will teach one or more of a variety of proprietary classes that include the following subjects: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Mixed media, Cartooning, Manga…….and more.
