Position Summary The Director, Commercial Division – Brazil will lead Driftwood Capital’s business development and capital raising efforts in Brazil. This role is responsible for expanding relationships with family offices, high-net-worth individuals, financial advisors, wealth platforms, and placement agents, while partnering with internal teams to ensure a high-quality investor experience from first engagement through closing and ongoing support. This is a senior, externally facing role requiring strong relationship management, commercial discipline, and the ability to execute a Brazil go-to-market strategy in close coordination with Marketing, Investor Relations, and Legal/Compliance. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Fundraising • Own and execute the Brazil commercial strategy to grow investor relationships and capital raised across Driftwood offerings (including EB-5)., • Build and maintain relationships with family offices, HNWIs, private banks, independent advisors, wealth platforms, and placement agents across Brazil., • Develop a robust prospecting plan, manage the full sales cycle, and drive qualified opportunities through to funding/closing., • Identify and develop strategic partnerships (e.g., advisors, immigration/EB-5 ecosystem partners, and introducers) that expand distribution. Marketing, Events & Market Presence • Partner with Marketing to localize messaging and materials for the Brazilian market and ensure consistent, compliant communications., • Plan and execute roadshows, seminars, and events with key partners to generate qualified investor leads., • Provide market feedback (competitive intel, investor preferences, objections) to improve positioning and materials. Investor Onboarding & Closing Support • Coordinate with Investor Relations and internal teams to support investor onboarding, documentation flow, and closing timelines., • Partner with investors and their counsel throughout the process while ensuring high-touch service and clear communication. Pipeline Management & Reporting • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline stages, activity tracking, and forecasting discipline., • Provide weekly reporting on pipeline, investor activity, projected closings, and key risks/blockers., • Track performance against goals and propose action plans to improve conversion and velocity. Compliance & Professional Standards • Work closely with Legal/Compliance to support compliant distribution practices, communications, and intermediary engagement., • Adhere to company policies related to confidentiality, AML/KYC, and anti-corruption standards when working with intermediaries and investors. Qualifications (Must Have) • Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Business, Economics, or related preferred)., • Significant experience in business development and/or fundraising within private markets (private equity, real estate, alternatives, or related)., • Established network in Brazil among family offices, HNWIs, advisors, private banks, and/or placement channels., • Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills; ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder closings., • Fluent in Portuguese and English (verbal and written)., • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM discipline. Preferred / Nice to Have • Experience with real estate, hospitality, structured products, or cross-border investment fundraising., • Familiarity with EB-5 ecosystem and/or working with immigration-focused investors (a plus)., • Comfort reading underwriting summaries, investment memos, and financial models (model-building not required)., • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and pipeline analytics., • Advanced degree or certification (MBA, CFA, CAIA) is a plus. Travel • 40%–50%, including travel within Brazil and occasional international travel.
