The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at the Medical University of South Carolina seeks a full-time, Breast Imaging Radiologist to join its Midlands Division Radiology Group based in Columbia, Northeast Columbia, and Camden, South Carolina. The Midlands Division is based in the Columbia, South Carolina area and consists of 3 hospitals and 3 outpatient imaging centers with annual volumes of approximately 140,000 studies. About the opportunity: • Full-time onsite position Monday Friday 8 AM 5 PM, • No Weekends, • No Call, • Candidate should have a strong foundation in all aspects of breast imaging including screening and diagnostic mammography, MRI, biopsies and localizations, • Candidate must be BC or BE and be MQSA certified and have completed a one-year fellowship in Breast Imaging, • Great mix of screening and diagnostic mammography. All units are tomosynthesis. Perform image guided biopsies including ultrasound, MRI, stereotactic, and localization procedures., • Work with state-of-the-art equipment, • Staff are well-established, collaborative and dedicated to the hospital and communities, • Supported by a premier cancer institute, the radiologists enjoy excellent professional relationships with dedicated breast sub-specialists in Breast Medical Oncology, Breast Genetics, Breast Surgical Oncology, Breast Radiation, Breast Pathology, Breast Surgery, and Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery., • Weekly dedicated Breast Tumor Boards serve as working conferences to deliver the highest quality medicine to each patient in a considerate, caring, and timely manner.
