Job Description Job Summary: Provide specialized care for patients with vascular diseases by conducting comprehensive assessments, managing chronic conditions like peripheral vascular disease (PVD), venous insufficiency/hypertension, end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Responsible for diagnosis, treatment, and medication management, interpreting diagnostic tests, and educating patients on care plan. Collaborate with a team of vascular surgeon, physician assistants, nurse practicioners, and medical office staff and technicians. General Accountabilities • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough physical examinations and take health histories to assess vascular health and diagnose conditions such as PVD, venous disease, and maintenance of dialysis access in ESRD patients. Patients will be seen in both private clinic and hospital settings., • Treatment Management: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications, providing therapeutic education, and assisting with office based procedures., • Diagnostic Interpretation: Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results, such as ultrasounds, CT scans, MRIs, and angiograms, to guide treatment decisions., • Operative Skills: Assist in OR. Will provide assistance in both complex endovascular and open surgical cases.
