Position Summary: We are currently seeking an Area Manager to guide and cultivate a strong team of Store Managers to deliver consistent quality, service, and efficiency across Da Vien locations. This position will report to the District Manager and Operation Manager. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee & tea, and strong leadership and business skills. This position regularly demands a minimum of 40 hours per week including variable hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed). Key Responsibilities Leadership & Management • Supervise, hire, train, retain, and oversee the scheduling of staff across assigned Area, • Strengthening store leadership teams by enhancing recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for managers, • Lead, coach, and support Store Managers & Assistant Managers in developing high-performing teams, • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide consistent feedback, and establish clear and challenging development plans to support organizational objectives, • Identify high-performing team members and drive succession planning to support internal growth, • Maintain accountability for team results and follow up with coaching and corrective action plans to improve performance, • Build and maintain a positive, high-performing team culture, • Ensure all training aligns with Da Vien’s operational and service standards, • Deliver training that upholds the quality, service, and brand values of DaVien, • Partner with HR in handling personnel misconduct investigations, upholding company values and protecting brand reputation, • Work closely with Managers at each location to uphold food and service standards, • Provide expertise on key customer issues, team staffing and management, store operations and company policies and procedures, • Enforce hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards in all operations, • Provide feedback, support, and coaching to ensure consistency and quality across locations, • Monitor financial and labor performance, ensuring alignment with business objective and seasonal trends, • Generate and submit weekly performance reports, highlighting key issues or areas of concern, • Plan and manage ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships, ensuring all stores are not over/under ordering, • Track food usage and production to minimize waste, • Maintain cost control while upholding product quality, • Monitor and support Store Managers & Assistant Managers in executing PAR level compliance, • Oversee daily operations and strategic growth for 4 – 5 Da Vien locations., • Monitor workflow, troubleshoot issues, and streamline processes, • Lead and support new store openings within the Area, ensuring smooth launches and operational readiness, • Assist in the planning, setup, and operational launch of new store locations., • Develop and execute district-wide strategies to drive financial performance, operational excellence, and customer service goals, • Launch and evaluate new product lines, tracking sales performance and customer behavior at the store level, • Depending on the length of the shift, employees may need to have physical stamina to remain active and stand for long hours, often walking or standing in a fast-paced environment, • Multitasking requires physical agility and the ability to stay organized, • Employees may be required to bend, squat, or reach up high to organize or stock products, • Some retail positions require employees to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, which can involve bending down to clean floors or wiping counters and fridges, • Restocking low shelves or accessing high displays may involve frequent bending or stretching, • 2–3+ years of management experience, ideally with multi-store or commissary oversight, • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills, • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, • Experience with inventory systems and cost control, • Passion for coffee & tea, quality, and consistency, • Sick leave is accrued from your first day, • PTO available 80 hrs. /10 days (Full-Time only), • Medical, Dental & Vision, • Employee discount, • Opportunities for advancement, • Complimentary drinks, • Team bonding/Company holiday events, • Paid training $70,000 - $75,000/ year – Exempt Monthly bonus 10% of Store Bonus Sick Pay / 40 hrs. per year Referral bonus program
