Job Description Robert Half Legal is partnering with a Professional Employer Organization based in Chandler, AZ looking for an in-house Paralegal to join their team. In this role, you will provide critical support to attorneys and managers, ensuring the smooth handling of tax-specific legal matters. This is a long-term contract position offering an exciting opportunity to work in-house at an established company with a tight-knit, collaborative legal team. Responsibilities: • Assist with preparation and tracking of ERC filings, • Review IRS transcripts and analyze filing histories, • Communicate directly with clients regarding ERC claim status and eligibility, • Draft client correspondence, including status updates and explanatory letters, • Support internal review of tax filings and documentation, • Assist attorneys and tax team with ERC-related legal matters, • Help address claim denials, dismissals, and statute of limitations issues, • Long term contract, ~12+ months with the potential to transition to a direct hire, • 5 days in office in Chandler, AZ, • Full time, 40-hour work week, • Parking is covered, • Starts immediately, • 3+ years of paralegal or relevant experience (tax, compliance, or litigation exposure preferred), • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, • Ability to learn quickly in a complex, evolving area of law, • Ability to manage compliance-related tasks effectively
