Already successful in luxury sales? You don't need to be looking for a job to consider a better opportunity. \n We're looking for someone who knows how to build relationships—not someone who waits for leads. If you've built a career working with designers, architects, luxury clients, premium products, or high-value projects and want the opportunity to build something of your own within an established luxury residential company, we'd like to talk. \n Senior Business Development Manager – Designer Liaison\n Private Technology Group | Las Vegas, Nevada \n Full-Time | Showroom-Based \n $75,000–$90,000 Base + Uncapped Commission Build Relationships. Develop Business. Own the Opportunity.\n Private Technology Group is looking for an accomplished relationship-driven sales professional to become our Senior Business Development Manager – Designer Liaison. \n This is not a traditional showroom sales position, and we are not looking for someone to simply wait for customers to walk through the door. \n We are looking for someone who can become a trusted resource to interior designers, architects, builders, and luxury residential professionals—someone who enjoys developing relationships, discovering opportunities, and turning those relationships into long-term business. \n You will have an unusual platform from which to do it. \n Based in our showroom at the Las Vegas Design Center / World Market Center, you'll represent an extensive collection of luxury residential solutions including architectural lighting, intelligent lighting and controls, automated shades, luxury audio/video, invisible technology, wellness and beverage systems, original artwork, and professional design and engineering services. \n You'll also have access to designers through our showroom, Summer and Winter Las Vegas Market, ASID, our manufacturer partners, existing industry relationships, and PTG's trade programs. \n We provide the platform. \n Your responsibility is to develop the relationships and turn opportunities into business. This May Be the Right Position for You If...\n You are already successful in relationship-based sales but want greater ownership over what you build. \n Perhaps you currently work in luxury furnishings, lighting, architectural products, luxury appliances, interior design, home technology, hospitality, premium consumer products, or another high-value consultative sales environment. \n You don't necessarily need experience selling our products. \n You do need to be able to learn them quickly. \n We are not looking for someone who needs to be told what to do every day. We are looking for someone who will learn what we do, understand why it matters to designers and their clients, build relationships, identify opportunities, and take ownership of moving those opportunities forward. \n We also want someone confident enough to tell us what they need. \n If you're hearing the same objection repeatedly, tell us. If you need a better sample, presentation, manufacturer resource, event, demonstration, or sales tool, bring us the idea. \n We want someone who helps improve the sales process—not someone who simply operates inside it. What You'll Do\n Your primary responsibility will be to develop new business and long-term relationships within the design community. \n You'll identify and cultivate relationships with interior designers and other luxury residential professionals; develop leads generated through the showroom, Las Vegas Market, ASID and PTG's industry relationships; schedule and conduct meetings in our showroom and, when appropriate, at designers' offices and project locations; uncover upcoming projects; and introduce solutions that genuinely improve the designer's project or their client's experience. \n Once you identify an opportunity, you stay involved. \n You'll maintain the relationship from initial introduction through discovery, proposal, sale and subsequent projects rather than simply handing a lead to someone else. \n You'll maintain an accurate pipeline and relationship history in PTG's CRM, develop proposals using WeQuote, coordinate with PTG's design and technical teams, and work directly with our manufacturer representatives. \n The objective isn't simply to close one project. \n We want you to develop designers who want to work with PTG again and again. What You'll Represent\n You'll develop working sales knowledge across PTG's luxury residential portfolio, including: \n\n • Intelligent and architectural lighting\n, • Lighting control systems\n, • Automated window treatments\n, • Luxury audio and video\n, • Invisible and architecturally integrated audio\n, • Home technology and control\n, • Wellness and premium beverage systems\n, • Original artwork\n, • Lighting design, engineering and related professional services\n\n Our core manufacturer relationships include Lutron, Ketra, Sonance, Leon Speakers, Bang & Olufsen, Scanomat/TopBrewer & TopHealth, Proluxe by American Lighting, and DMF Lighting. \n You don't need to walk through the door knowing every product. \n You do need the curiosity, initiative and learning ability to become conversant with them quickly and—more importantly—understand why a designer or homeowner should care about them. What We're Looking For\n We're interested in candidates with demonstrated success in consultative, relationship-driven business development or sales, particularly in luxury residential, interior design, architecture, furnishings, lighting, architectural products, luxury appliances, hospitality, home technology, or other premium markets. \n You should be comfortable developing your own business rather than depending entirely on provided leads, building relationships over months or years rather than chasing only immediate transactions, communicating with interior designers and affluent clientele, maintaining disciplined follow-up, managing multiple opportunities simultaneously, and being accountable for measurable results. \n We're particularly interested in people who can demonstrate business they personally developed, rather than simply accounts they inherited. \n Strong communication, presentation, organization and interpersonal skills are essential. Your First 60 Days\n We're transparent about expectations. \n Your initial onboarding will be structured and fast-paced. \n During your first two weeks, you'll meet directly with representatives from our principal manufacturers and develop a working understanding of our primary solutions and how to position them. \n You'll then develop proficiency with PTG's CRM, WeQuote and sales process while beginning active relationship development. \n By the end of your first 60 days, we expect you to demonstrate product fluency, independent business-development activity and a credible qualified pipeline. \n You'll receive substantial access to PTG's CEO during your initial onboarding, but the objective is independence—not permanent supervision. Compensation\n Base Salary: $75,000–$90,000, depending on experience and qualifications. \n In addition to base salary, this position includes uncapped performance-based commission calculated on collected gross profit. \n Our compensation structure rewards profitable business development, long-term account creation and exceptional performance. Successful performers have meaningful six-figure earning potential, with substantial additional upside as their book of business grows. \n An additional performance bonus is available upon achievement of defined annual sales and margin objectives. Benefits\n PTG currently provides a company phone, health reimbursement benefit subject to plan eligibility, and 10 days of vacation after six months of employment. Schedule & Location\n This is a full-time, Las Vegas-based, showroom position at the Las Vegas Design Center / World Market Center. \n Most working time will be spent in the showroom, with meetings outside the showroom scheduled as appropriate and when showroom coverage permits. \n Participation in Summer and Winter Las Vegas Market is expected. Reasonable availability for occasional ASID, designer, manufacturer, evening, or weekend events is also part of the position. \n This is not a remote sales position. Requirements\n Candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation and must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening. \n The position requires the ability to work a complete eight-hour shift with standard breaks and safely lift, carry, move, and properly use product and sample kits weighing up to approximately 35 pounds. About Private Technology Group\n Private Technology Group works with interior designers, architects, builders and homeowners to integrate technology into luxury residences without compromising design. \n Our work encompasses lighting design and control, automated shades, audio/video, home technology, networking, security, wellness and lifestyle products, original artwork, and related design and engineering services. \n Our philosophy is simple: \n When Details Matter. \n We believe technology should support great design—not compete with it.
