Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly specialized Quality Assurance Audit Manager. This role is responsible for providing expert guidance and leadership in quality audit processes, the administration of quality management and other command media systems, along with managing the scheduling and execution of internal audits. The successful candidate will apply their broad expertise and knowledge in quality assurance, quality audits, and systems administration to ensure compliance and continuous improvement within our operations. In addition to core responsibilities, the ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience in leading the redesign and enhancement of quality management systems, with a focus on usability, system expansion, change review workflows, and system searchability, resulting in improved efficiency, user adoption, and audit readiness. Key Responsibilities: \n • Lead and contribute to the development and execution of company objectives related to quality management and system administration.\n, • Oversee quality audits, ensuring adherence to internal standards, industry regulations, and external compliance requirements.\n, • Manage the scheduling of internal audits, ensuring audits are conducted on time and in accordance with the established quality audit plan.\n, • Coordinate audit resources, ensuring proper allocation of staff and tools for effective audit execution.\n, • Evaluate complex situations, data, and intangible factors to identify opportunities for process improvement and mitigate risks.\n, • Provide expert analysis and conceptual thinking to resolve advanced issues and support strategic decisions that impact the entire function.\n, • Develop and maintain formal networks with various departments and stakeholders, ensuring alignment across groups and contributing to broader organizational projects.\n, • Ensure that quality systems are robust, effective, and continuously evolving, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.\n, • Improving system usability and navigation for end users\n, • Expansion of system to accommodate growth of business areas\n, • Enhancing workflows for review and approval of changes\n, • Optimizing metadata and structure to improve document and record searchability\n\n\n, • Drive initiatives that influence wider business processes, with a focus on quality management system integration and audit function optimization.\n, • Mentor and direct teams, providing thought leadership and supporting the development of staff involved in quality management.\n, • Present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders, influencing decisions and ensuring that quality principles are understood and adhered to across all levels of the organization.\n, • Serve as the recognized subject matter expert within the company on quality systems and audits, offering advice and solutions to complex quality-related issues.\n\n Compensation Range: $128,800 - $167,400 The role requires someone who can navigate advanced issues with conceptual thinking, exercise independent judgment, and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company's quality operations, while ensuring that audits are conducted in a timely, effective, and compliant manner. The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training. Skills and Experience: Skills and Experience: \n • 12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years of experience; or equivalent experience.\n, • Strong experience in quality audits, quality audit scheduling, and the administration of quality management systems.\n, • Proven experience in redesigning and enhancing quality management systems to improve functionality and user experience.\n, • Proven experience managing and executing audit schedules, ensuring audits are planned, resourced, and completed efficiently.\n, • Proven ability to analyze complex data and situations, providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.\n, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing diverse stakeholders across the organization.\n\n Preferred Qualifications: \n • Certification in quality auditing (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, CMMI or similar).\n, • Previous experience in industries with highly regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, manufacturing, or pharmaceuticals).\n, • DoD experience preferred.\n, • Strong understanding of risk management, process optimization, and change management in quality systems.\n, • Experience with audit management software or scheduling tools.\n, • Strategic Thinking and Problem Solving\n, • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement\n, • Process Improvement and Systems Integration\n\n Citizenship Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
