Job DescriptionOverview Our client, a well-established artisan baked goods manufacturer in the Greater Sacramento area, is seeking a proactive and hands-on Supply Chain Operations Manager to join its expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key role within a successful 24/7 production environment serving major grocery chains and national retail partners across the country. The successful candidate will work closely with the Plant Manager and a dedicated warehouse team of 6-8 employees. Key Responsibilities • Support continuous improvement efforts, participate in cross-functional initiatives, and uphold food safety and GMP standards., • Partner closely with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to coordinate daily operations, shipments, and deliveries., • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure materials are available to meet customer demand and production schedules., • Oversee purchasing, inventory, logistics, and overall supply chain activities for a 24/7 food manufacturing operation., • Provide hands-on assistance across warehouse and supply chain functions as needed in a lean, fast-paced setting., • Comfortable working in a fast-paced 24/7 operation, with flexibility as business needs require., • Ability to work in a hands-on, onsite manufacturing environment where priorities may shift., • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to support warehouse, logistics, and production needs., • Experience handling inventory, purchasing, ordering, and vendor coordination for raw materials and packaging., • 3-5 years of experience in food manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, warehouse, or related operational environments., • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills for reporting, tracking, and operational planning.Preferred Qualifications, • Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Food Science, Business, or a related discipline., • Experience working with ERP systems., • Understanding of food safety requirements, audit processes, BRC, GMP, and broader GFSI standards., • Billingual English/Spanish., • Experience in audited food manufacturing environments., • Exposure to continuous improvement programs.Who You Are, • Organized, accountable, and able to remain composed under pressure., • Able to develop strong working relationships across production, warehouse, and leadership teams., • Motivated by growth, change, and contributing within a team-oriented business., • Positive, practical, and collaborative in your approach to others., • Comfortable making decisions, maintaining standards, and following through on issues., • Hands-on and comfortable in a fast-moving, onsite manufacturing environment., • Adaptable and willing to step in where needed in a lean, 24/7 operation., • Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year, • Employment Type: Permanent, full-time, • Hours: Typically 40–50 hours per week, • Schedule: Primarily standard business hours, with occasional flexibility needed to support a 24/7 operation, • Work Arrangement: 100% onsite in the Greater Sacramento area Benefits, • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • 401(k) retirement plan, • Paid time off after 1 year, • Supportive, collaborative environment with engaged leadership Equal Employment Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy Equal Employment Opportunity Statement: Both Keller Executive Search and our clients are Equal Opportunity Employers.
