Job Summary As a Sous Chef for FLIK Hospitality's Ace Team, you will support various accounts in the New York City Metro region. You will be responsible for assisting with the overall success of the food program and overseeing culinary functions. The position entails assisting in all phases of planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation. This includes adhering to the client’s culture and guidelines, the Health Department’s regulations, and the company’s standards and expectations of food quality, freshness and presentation. The Sous Chef also motivates, trains, develops, and directs the back of house associates preparing and cooking foods to accomplish the objectives of the operation to the satisfaction of the customers, clients, and management. As a member of the Ace Team you will be responsible for supporting and/or managing Flik accounts. Being based in New York City, you will mainly support units in the Tri-State region. The majority of the assignments fall between Monday through Friday. There will be periodic evening, weekend and holiday assignments given with advance notice. New Country Day Camp is an 8-week, outdoor summer camp for campers in kindergarten-8th grade. NCDC operates M-F, 8am-5pm, and provides transportation for staff and campers to and from our campgrounds on Staten Island via multiple locations throughout Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. NCDC is a neurodiverse camp community, and all staff members are responsible for supporting neurodivergent and neurotypical campers and staff to have successful summers. We are seeking experienced Social Work: Support Supervisors. Support Supervisors play a pivotal role in coordinating and supervising our disability-inclusive model that provides extra support to campers with additional social/emotional/behavioral/mental health needs (includes diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADD/ADHD, mood or anxiety disorders, sensory processing issues, etc.). Support Supervisors ensure that all campers can experience the joy of camp in the most inclusive, least restrictive environment possible. Support Supervisors will work part time during pre-camp (April-June) and transition to full-time during camp program (June-August). Job Description The Mental Health Association is seeking a Crisis Outreach Supervisor for our new program, 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Team, operating out of the Essex County location. The 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program responds to adults (18 and above) in nonlife-threatening situations who have contacted the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Response program (MCORT) responds 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year, to nonlife-threatening mental health, substance use or suicidal crises in the community. MCORT works in coordination with the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline crisis centers. (The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline was formerly the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.) MCORT is to be comprised of a two-person team in the field under supervision by a third professional from a centralized location. Shift time available: 11PM - 7AM Qualified applicants for the position of Crisis Outreach Supervisor will have, at minimum: • A Master’s Degree in a mental health related field from an accredited institution, a professional license (LSW, LAC) and two years of post-master’s full time equivalent professional experience in a psychiatric setting required., • A professional with experience in a crisis setting is preferred., • A valid NJ driver’s license and a good driving record., • The ability to provide effective crisis response and de-escalation as related to community mental health in the community.
