Job DescriptionJob Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a growing mortgage company to hire multiple Loan Officers in multiple locations. As the Loan Officer you will be responsible for establishing referral source relationships and selling mortgage loans. The ideal candidate will have the appropriate state license/certifications, experience as a Loan Officer who is a sales-oriented self-starter. Responsibilities: • Drive business growth by actively building and nurturing relationships with key referral partners like realtors, financial advisors, and CPAs., • Expertly manage the full loan application process, including borrower intake, financial analysis, and pre-qualification to determine affordability., • Serve as a trusted advisor by counseling prospective borrowers on the home-buying and financing process, detailing various loan products, and explaining payment structures and closing costs., • Proactively collect all necessary financial documents and provide required disclosures to ensure a complete and compliant application., • Must have appropriate state license or certificate (varies by state)., • Thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurance companies., • Working knowledge of credit underwriting and property eligibility requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, local bonding programs and private investors., • Familiar with local, state and national laws (e.g. zoning ordinances, Truth-in Lending, RESPA, energy audit requirements, etc.), • Must be a sales-oriented self-starter.Seeking candidates to work within the following states: Alaska, Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin This job is Hybrid Remote.
