    Position Overview The Assistant Store Leader of Operations leads and supports the Store Leader by directing activities required to achieve all store goals, including best of class guest service, sales objectives, operating expenses, loss prevention, and merchandising presentation, while driving both associate and guest engagement. You will provide guests with exceptional service, through relationship building, product knowledge sharing, and presenting a clean, well-maintained store environment. Operations Leaders drive excellence through increasing sales, finding operational efficiencies, and developing top talent within their team. People • Fosters a guest-focused team environment through driving volume and anticipating guest needs, • Achieves excellent guest service by role-modeling company service standards, • Proactively provides timely feedback to associates, rewards and recognizes performance to drive retention, • Holds self and associates accountable for achievement of financial results and performance standards, • Manages conflict and coaches by applying company’s recommended processes, standards and guidelines, • Empowers and involves associates in decision-making processes, • Receives feedback and fosters dialog around solutions, • Develops associates through an individualized approach by matching talent with tasks, delegating, and challenging on results, • Fosters team commitment through support, relationship building, and recognizing individual contributions, • Leads by managing through change and adversity, • Makes recommendations on hiring, promotions, and terminations of team members based on performance Process • Consistently meets or exceeds store and individual goals and contributes to the store’s overall goals., • Engages our guests and make their shopping experience exceptional!, • Co-Leads floor sets/refresh management, • Makes recommendations on hiring, promotions, and terminations of team members based on performance, • Manages and oversee scheduling, • Manages back of house organization, • Manages shipment and product prep process (steaming, hanging etc.), • Plans and manages merchandise markdown process, • Manages supply orders, maintenance & cleaning, • Manages Inventory/Damages, • Audits and manage banking & loss prevention systems, • Trains new associates on operational processes, • Co-manages payroll and responsible for store’s financial performance, • Responsible for decisions regarding store operations and planning, • Controls workflow through successful planning and delegation, • Executes task directives within designated time frames, • Completes opening/closing procedures, • Adheres to loss prevention practices and reports potential incidents to ensure shortage control in order to protect Company assets, • Communicates effectively with executive team., • Must be able to lift & carry heavy boxes (up to 30 lbs) Presentation • Utilizes and manages the use of weekly reporting to track, analyze and communicate business results and determine strategies to maximize sales, • Interprets Home Office communication through Store Leader / District Leader partnership, • Partners with the Visual District Leader and Visual Assistant Store Leader to oversee and manage the roll-out of floorsets, window sets, fixture placement and overall visual environment., • Maintains an awareness of brand aesthetic and relevance to the store environment and communicate with team, • Communicates performance observations and offers feedback to the District Leader Qualifications • 1 year Retail Management, • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, • Physical ability to perform tasks, which could require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling and / or squatting frequently. May be required to occasionally climb ladders, climb and descend stairs frequently, depending on location. Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.     Full-Time | Commercial Division 8 Aftermarket Service Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Job description: Ally Door Hardware – Bronx, NY Full-Time Door & Hardware Mechanic | Commercial Division 8 Aftermarket Service Position Overview Ally Door Hardware is seeking an independant, reliable, seasoned Door & Hardware Mechanic to join our growing commercial aftermarket service team. This position is responsible for servicing, repairing, adjusting, and installing commercial doors, locks, door closers, exit devices, and related architectural hardware throughout New York City. The ideal candidate has experience in commercial doors and hardware, locksmithing, construction trades, carpentry, maintenance, and enjoys troubleshooting problems in the field. Has the ability to carry heavy tool bags, hardware and doors and can travel on Mass Transit. Candidates with 3 + locksmith experience are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Commercial Door & Hardware Service: Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and adjust commercial doors and hardware. Install and service: Mortise locks Cylindrical locks Door closers Exit devices / panic hardware Hinges and pivots Door coordinators Thresholds and weatherstripping Repair doors that: Do not latch properly Drag, sag, or bind Have damaged hardware Have ADA or life safety operational issues Field Service Operations Respond to scheduled service calls throughout NYC. Complete multiple service calls per day. Communicate job status with the Sales/Project Manager and office staff. Take job site photos before and after work is completed. Maintain professional relationships with clients and building personnel. Documentation: Complete field work orders accurately and completely. Record labor hours and materials used. Document additional deficiencies and recommended repairs. Submit completed work orders and photos daily. Tool Management: Maintain company vehicle in a clean and organized manner. Maintain inventory of commonly used parts and hardware. Report inventory shortages and tool issues promptly. Safety: Follow company safety policies and procedures. Use proper PPE and safe work practices. Maintain clean and safe work areas.
