Your main responsibilities will be to assist lead installing various types of dampers including fire, smoke, and fire/smoke damper, installing duct access doors, and other various sheet metal modifications. Overview A Sheet Metal and Damper Repair Mechanic Helper is responsible for assisting the lead technician in completing inspections on, making repairs to, and installing new fire/smoke dampers in compliance with the National Fire Protection Agency (NPFA) NPFA 90A, NFPA 80, & NFPA 105 standards and in accordance with the Absolute Facilities Group (AFG) Training Methods and Procedures Manual.
