Job Description Systems Administrator Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Systems Administrator to join our team and support a comprehensive stack of enterprise products and services. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong sense of detail, operate effectively both as part of a team and independently, and demonstrate a continual commitment to professional growth and process improvement. This role is vital to ensuring seamless operation, security, and optimization of our organization's systems and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities • Administer and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms, including Jamf Pro, Workspace ONE, and Google Workspace., • Develop, implement, and maintain device policies, configuration profiles, and application payloads to enhance security and user experience., • Integrate MDM systems with auto-enrollment providers to streamline device onboarding and provisioning processes., • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to current and future deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to operations., • Oversee all aspects of Google Workspace, including:, • Configuring email security and routing., • Enforcing device trust and conditional access., • Implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) measures., • Managing tenant migrations., • Optimizing inheritance of permissions., • Configure and maintain integrations with Identity Providers (IdPs), including Google Workspace and Okta, with a focus on:, • Device assurance and context-aware access., • SAML and OAuth integrations, • Enrollment workflows and SCEP., • Deploy, manage, and optimize Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, such as CrowdStrike and Jamf Protect, to proactively monitor, detect, and mitigate security threats., • Maintain and manage server environments and hosted services, ensuring reliability and scalability., • Proven experience administering MDM platforms across diverse operating systems, including macOS, iOS, Android, and Windows., • Comprehensive knowledge of Google Workspace administration, including security, compliance, and integrations., • Hands-on experience with EDR solutions for deployment, monitoring, and incident response., • Expertise in SAML integrations and related identity management protocols., • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, and DHCP., • Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and task optimization., • Exceptional documentation and communication skills to ensure clarity and efficiency., • Experience managing Windows Server environments and Active Directory (AD)., • Adaptability to dynamic environments and rapidly changing technologies., • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages beyond Bash, such as Python or PowerShell., • Experience with virtualization platforms and cloud-based services. Standard office environment; may require occasional after-hours or weekend work for maintenance or emergencies. * Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed for hardware installation.
