Job DescriptionDescription: The Director of Inside Sales & Sales Operations at MaxLite will lead a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving new business, and supporting the company’s “Project 250” growth initiative. This senior leadership role works closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to ensure the Inside Sales, Customer Project Managers, and Sales Operations teams are aligned with company sales strategies and performance goals. This position carries full responsibility for staff hiring, development, and ongoing management, ensuring processes, tools, and customer engagement strategies are optimized to achieve revenue targets and operational excellence. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Lead Inside Sales strategy and execution, driving revenue growth, customer retention, and measurable improvements in sales efficiency., • Strengthen customer and channel relationships at the executive level to ensure loyalty and long-term growth opportunities., • Collaborate with executive leadership, finance and product management on pricing strategy, • Manage pricing and quotation strategy, ensuring competitiveness, profitability, and alignment with company objectives., • Oversee Sales Operations, including forecasting, and cross-functional coordination with Finance, SCM, and Product Management., • Design and implement scalable sales processes that enable inside sales teams, specialists, and agents to deliver consistent results., • Develop, coach, and grow high-performing Inside Sales & Sales Operations teams, with responsibility for recruitment, training, and performance management., • Leverage CRM and automation tools to increase visibility, streamline workflows, and improve decision-making., • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, special projects, and continuous improvement of customer experience., • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities, inform go-to-market strategies, and support growth planning., • Manage account and project execution for designated clients., • Perform other duties as assigned with minimal supervisionRequirements:, • Minimum 10+ years experience in same or similar role, preferably in lighting or related industries., • Minimum 5+ years’ experience managing teams and individual workload with minimal supervision, • Advanced Lighting Product Knowledge, • Proven track record in driving sales growth, customer retention, and process improvement., • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM and sales automation experience required., • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment., • Competitive salary + bonus, • • Growth opportunities, • • Health benefits (medical, dental, vision), • • Paid time off (sick, vacation, holidays), • • Life and disability insurance, • • 401(k) w/ company match Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: • This is an on-site position required to work out of our Pine Brook, NJ Headquarters, Monday through Friday, 5 days per week during the assigned shift schedule, • Travel may be required based off business needs, • Must be able to commute to the work location and to designated locations, included, but not limited to: other MaxLite, 3PL, and customer locations, • Must be able to walk, talk, sit, stand, bend, listen, type, read, • Must be able to push, pull, lift up to 15 pounds on occasion, • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions About MaxLite: MaxLite has been committed to providing energy-efficient lighting products for more than 32 years.
