Aerospaceisseekingan experienced and dynamic leaderto supportM&S and DE Integrationactivities for Aerospace and its customers.This role will provide leadership and advice to a range ofAerospace andgovernment customers seekingassistancewithdigital transformationintegrationefforts, especiallytechnicallydemanding activitiesrelated to theintegration ofdigital engineering (DE) ecosystems, data, M&S, and AIacross diverse enterprises.You will lead efforts to defineDE & M&Sinterfacestandards, drive interoperability across platforms, and ensure dataand softwarequality, security, and compliance at scale.Inherentinthis jobwill beopportunitiestosignificantly influence the futureofdigital capabilitiesforboth the government and the AerospaceCorporation. This is a full-time position thatrequire 100% onsitework inChantilly, VA, Colorado Springs,CO or El Segundo,CA; WhatYou'llBe Doing * Develop and execute digitalintegrationstrategy(-ies)in support ofAerospace andgovernment customers. Work with stakeholders tocreate digitalintegrationstrategies andgenerateplans/roadmaps torealize those strategies * Architectsolutions. Consistent withthe strategies and roadmaps,partner with architecture teams toproducevarious levels (e.g., functional, logical, solution)and types (e.g.,operational,enterprise,ecosystem/environment,application)of architecture to informimplementation.Implementation approacheswill need toaccountfor user needsvariety of(e.g., requirements, use cases)andtradespaceconstraints such as applicable policies,and available resources. * Supportthe Transition.Monitor, assess, and guide the transition from legacy capabilities todesiredsolutionsand integrated capabilities, to includesupportingrelevant aspects of the acquisition process.Routinely engagewith customerstakeholders to communicate theobjectives, the status, and needs. * Establish governance.Coordinate withstakeholders toimplementexecutable processes and clear lines of authority/responsibility tocontinuallymanagethedevelopment anddeployment ofintegratedcapabilities.Prioritize feature development and balance customer requirements with technical feasibility. * Provide integratedperspective.Provideexpertisethat incorporatesthe needs of Aerospace andthe range ofstakeholderstoensure thatadvice and solutions reflect consistent,balanced, andintegrated strategiesbased on what is best for theentirespace enterprise.aligningcross functional teams around goals and timelines. What You Need to be Successful MinimumRequirements: * Bachelor's degree in STEM or other technical discipline * 10or more years of increasingly responsible professionalengineeringroles, especially related to DEand M&S. * Familiarity withdigital engineering, Modeling and Simulation, and integration concepts and technologies, especially as practiced and deployed in the DoD in support of acquisition lifecycle supporting mission systems * Knowledge of-and experience with-DEand M&Secosystems as well as cloud technologiesandservices, data management technologies and services, AI technologies and services, Modeling Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) applications,and associated workforce and culturalaspects. * Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and mission focused stakeholders across multiple constituencies. * Experience leading the design, development, representation, and/or implementationand integrationof large-scale digital architectures * Position requires ability to obtain andmaintaina security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S. citizenship isrequiredto obtain a security clearance. How You Can Stand Out It would be impressive if youhaveone or more of these: * Advanced degree in STEM or other technical discipline * 12or more years of increasingly responsible professionalengineeringroles, especially related to DE. * Experience creating a government reference architecture * Demonstrated success leading large-scale digitalintegrationprojects * Experience with various DoD acquisition processes,such asacquisition strategies, contracting strategies, requests for proposal,work breakdown structures, cost estimating,andrequirements management * Direct experience with cloud, data, AIserviceprovidersand/or platforms * Direct experience with DoD, NNSA,orcivilspace missions and capabilities * Effective communication skills, to include the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and conciselytovarious typesof stakeholders * Knowledge / experience with specificDOD,NNSA, or civil space digital environments * Knowledge / experience of systems-of-systems (SoS) engineering and architecting and model-based system engineering (MBSE) * Familiarity withAI technologies and practices * Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and mission focused stakeholders across multiple constituencies. * Demonstrated problem-solving ability * Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration across multi-organizational teams * Current DoD TS and SSBI/SCI Clearance We offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
