About the role The fastest way to learn how AI will reshape businesses is to go inside and analyze dozens of them. As an Associate Principal, you will be the intellectual core of our AI due diligence practice: assessing disruption risk and value creation opportunities across industries, interviewing management teams, and presenting findings to PE clients. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Software Engineer on our team, you will: • Design, implement, and maintain reliable systems for processing payments, scheduling payouts, and reconciling transactions., • Ensure funds distribution happens on time and at scale, with strong SLAs and monitoring., • Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, and Product teams to build features that meet regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements, • Integrate with third-party payment processors, banks, and financial networks (ACH, wire transfers, card processors, digital wallets), • Architect systems for auditability, security, and fault tolerance across distributed services, • Implement and improve automated reconciliation, ledgering, and reporting pipelines, • Lead technical discussions on scalability, reliability, and fraud prevention in payment systems., • Work closely with first party and third party integrators, contribute to code reviews, and promote engineering best practices., • Drive process improvements in CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, and observability for financial workflows.Qualifications WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: • 5+ years of experience building backend systems, with at least 2 years in a senior/lead capacity, • Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET (Web API) and SQL Server, • Hands-on experience with payment processing, banking integrations, or financial transaction systems, • Deep understanding of databases and transactional integrity (SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, or NoSQL systems), • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, queues, and schedulers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS, etc.), • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code, • Knowledge of security and compliance standards for payments (PCI DSS, SOC 2, GDPR), • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, finance, and business teams, • Experience with NodeJS, TypeScript and Angular. Job Description We are seeking a Staff C++ Software Engineer to lead the design and development of a robust C++ Software Development Kit (SDK) for controlling and interfacing with an ultrasound imaging device. This SDK will serve as a common platform used by internal development teams and external partners. This is a senior individual contributor role for an engineer who is a fast learner, self-starter, and capable of working autonomously in a complex, hardware-adjacent environment.
