YOUR MISSION The Maintenance Technician supports Brewtopia’s quick-service restaurant operations by ensuring all equipment, facilities, and guest-facing areas operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. This role partners closely with store leadership and operations teams to minimize downtime, protect brand standards, and support a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Requirements: WHAT YOU’LL DO • Restaurant Equipment & Systems, • Maintain and repair QSR equipment including espresso machines, brewers, grinders, refrigeration, ice machines, HVAC, and lighting., • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and service disruptions., • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and refrigeration issues with speed and accuracy., • Maintain interior and exterior conditions to brand standards (lighting, flooring, doors, restrooms)., • Address safety hazards immediately and document corrective actions., • Respond to maintenance tickets within defined standards, • Prioritize repairs based on guest impact, food safety, and revenue risk., • Communicate clearly with store managers on issue status, timelines, and workarounds., • Ensure compliance with health department, food safety, fire, and OSHA standards., • Follow Brewtopia safety procedures including lockout/tagout., • Maintain accurate service logs, repair documentation, and parts usage records., • Coordinate with approved vendors for specialized repairs., • Monitor and manage maintenance tools, parts, and supplies., • Ensure cost-effective repairs without compromising quality or safety. QUALIFICATIONS Required • High school diploma or GED., • 2+ years of maintenance experience in QSR, food service, retail, or hospitality., • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and refrigeration systems., • Ability to read service manuals, schematics, and digital work orders., • EPA refrigeration certification., • HVAC, electrical, or facilities certification., • Experience supporting multi-unit restaurant operations., • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills., • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment., • Clear communicator with a service-oriented mindset., • Strong time management and prioritization skills., • Lift up to 50 lbs., • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces., • Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation as required by operations.
