The Vice President of E-commerce must be a dynamic and results-oriented individual and will lead our digital commerce strategy and operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will own the end-to-end e-commerce P&L, focusing on building profitability through data-driven optimization, best-in-class operations, and innovative tech stack management. This role collaborates closely with Brand President on all integrated marketing and creative strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in scaling e-commerce and digital marketplaces for fashion or footwear brands, with expertise in improving conversion rates, enhancing user experience, and driving bottom-line results in a high-growth environment. The ideal candidate resides in New York City, New York or Austin, Texas. This position is hybrid. Salary Range: $175,000 - $225,000 Core Responsibilities: • P&L Ownership and Profitability Management, • Develop, manage and optimize the e-commerce P&L, including revenue forecasting, cost control, and margin improvement., • Build detailed financial models to guide strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and delivering sustainable profitability., • E-Commerce Optimization and Operations, • Lead best-in-class e-commerce operations, overseeing site performance, inventory management, fulfillment, and customer service integration., • Implement continuous improvements to streamline processes, reduce operational costs, and enhance scalability in a fast-growth brand., • Tech Stack Ownership, • Own the full e-commerce technology ecosystem, including Shopify, integrations with ERP/CRM systems, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Triple Whale, MS Clarity), and emerging technologies like AI-driven personalization., • Evaluate, implement, and maintain tools to support seamless operations and future-proof the stack., • E-commerce Strategy, • Shape and execute a robust eCommerce strategy aligned with P448's long-term goals, partnering with key cross-functional teams., • Data-Driven Insights, • Conversation Rate Improvement, • Drive initiatives to boost conversion rates through A/B testing, UX/UI enhancements, personalized merchandising, and data analytics., • Analyze user behavior, funnel drop-offs, and customer journeys to identify and resolve bottlenecks, targeting double-digit improvements in key metrics., • Bottom-Line Profitability Focus, • Champion strategies to maximize ROI across digital channels, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and affiliate programs., • Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration, • Build and mentor a high-performing e-commerce team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability., • Performance Monitoring and Reporting, • Establish KPIs for e-commerce success (e.g., AOV, CAC, LTV, traffic growth) and provide regular insights to stakeholders. Use data to inform agile decision-making and pivot strategies in response to market trends., • Innovation and Growth, • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred, • Years of Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in e-commerce leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior role (VP or Director level) preferably in Fashion, Footwear, Consumer Goods or Retail industry., • Demonstrated success in building and managing P&L for e-commerce businesses exceeding $50M in annual revenue, with a focus on profitability and optimization., • Deep expertise in e-commerce platforms, tech stacks, and tools (e.g., Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, Attentive, TripleWhale, MS Clarity, or similar), • Proven ability to improve conversion rates and drive bottom-line growth through data-driven strategies., • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, or BI platforms (e.g., Tableau)., • Experience in high-growth environments, preferably with international e-commerce operations., • Background in the footwear or luxury fashion industry., • Knowledge of Italian market dynamics and global e-commerce regulations (e.g., GDPR)., • Familiarity with sustainability-focused e-commerce practices., • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, vision/dental insurance, paid time off and more., • The chance to shape the digital future of a fast-growth Italian brand with a creative, community-driven culture., • Flexible work arrangements with travel to Italy and key markets.
