Job DescriptionJob Description David Weekley Homes is seeking a qualified Lead Email Coordinator to join our Marketing and Communications Team. We’re looking for a creative, data-driven email marketer who thrives on building relationships through the inbox. What you will do: • Manage email project plans and team priorities, • Develop and maintain email editorial calendar, • Conduct email competition reviews, • Manage projects with vendors, • Prepare, analyze, manage and communicate comprehensive monthly, quarterly and annual email results, • Support the development of email marketing training materials, • Identify and share email best practices based on results, • Ensure successful, quality, and timely deployment of email messages, • Conduct and coordinate A/B email message tests on a consistent basis, • Evaluate all email content for effectiveness and shift approaches where necessary, • Track and analyze campaigns, • Develop personalized email messaging streams and various campaigns, • Document and refine processes, • Coordinate and monitor the maintenance, integrity, and security of the email marketing database, • Assist with creating and distributing email messages, • Troubleshoot email message issues using SQL, • Thoroughly review campaigns from start to finish, ensuring all parts are approved prior to launch, • Analyze technical requirements and communicate needs, • Create dynamic content email messages and templates in HTML scripting language, • Help train new email team membersQualifications Skills & Work Experience: • 3-4 years of email marketing experience, • Technical understanding of data tables and SQL queries, • Experience with dynamic content, • The ability to create and edit emails in HTML, including responsive email design, and make proper code changes as needed, • Experience in the Cordial email platform, including smarty scripting language and data extensions, • Knowledge of CAN-SPAM laws and email marketing best practices, • Demonstrated accountability for launching high volume email campaigns, • Knowledge in campaign performance analysis and experience in telling the “why” story when reporting, • Familiarity with project management software, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, • The ability to take direction and see projects and tasks through to completion, • Strong attention to detail and deadline-oriented, • A reputation of being responsible, reliable, and accountable, • A curious, collaborative mindset and a willingness to test, learn, and evolve, • Enthusiasm and an inquiring, investigative mind, • Success in working on a team, while also being productive working alone, • Exceptional customer service skills, • Strong organizational skills Additional Information Work Location: This position is based at our Houston Headquarters near the intersection of I-10 Katy Freeway and 610 W Loop.
