Our Human Resources team plays a key role in driving these efforts by partnering with leaders and employees to build meaningful development opportunities and strengthen organizational effectiveness. We are currently seeking a Manager, Learning & Development to support and advance these priorities. The Manager, Learning & Development is responsible for advancing employee performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness through the design and implementation of strategic, enterprise-wide learning initiatives. This role plays a critical part in assessing development needs, shaping learning strategy, and delivering solutions that support both individual growth and institutional priorities. This position reports directly to the Chief People & Operations Officer. Key ResponsibilitiesLearning Strategy & Program Development * Conducts an annual, organization-wide learning and development needs assessment to identify skill gaps, capability needs, and strategic priorities. * Designs, develops, and implements comprehensive learning and development programs aligned with organizational goals and workforce planning initiatives. * Curates, integrates, and streamlines training resources across platforms (e.g., CITI, ADP, Mineral, SHRM, Interfolio, and others) to ensure consistency, accessibility, and alignment. * Develops and delivers engaging, high-impact training content using a variety of instructional methods, modalities, and technologies. * Leverages and incorporates training assets, including learning modules, performance tools, and system-based resources, to support onboarding, compliance, and ongoing employee development. * Leads onboarding-related training coordination, including assignment, tracking, and compliance for required training (e.g., CITI and other mandatory programs). * Plans, organizes, and facilitates workshops, leadership development programs, and training events. Leadership Development & Engagement * Partners with leaders, managers, and supervisors to strengthen leadership capability and support employee development, engagement, and retention. * Provides coaching and guidance to enhance performance, leadership effectiveness, and team outcomes. * Supports initiatives that foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and organizational excellence. Performance Management & ADP Workforce Now * Partners with Human Resources leadership to administer and continuously enhance performance management processes within ADP Workforce Now. * Configures and maintains performance cycles, templates, workflows, and system functionality. * Develops and deploys ADP-based training assets and user guides to ensure effective utilization of performance management tools across the organization. * Provides training and ongoing support to managers and employees on goal setting, performance evaluations, and system utilization. * Monitors completion and compliance of performance reviews, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and accountability. * Analyzes performance data and trends to inform talent development strategies, succession planning, and organizational decision-making. Evaluation, Communication & Continuous Improvement * Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics; continuously refines programs to improve outcomes and impact. * Leads internal communication efforts related to learning and development, including intranet content, newsletters, and organizational announcements. * Collaborates cross-functionally with HR, leadership, and operational teams to align learning initiatives with broader organizational strategies. Additional Responsibilities * Performs other duties as assigned in support of organizational priorities and strategic initiatives. Required Skills & Abilities * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. * Strong facilitation, presentation, and executive-level communication capabilities. * Proficiency with a variety of learning technologies, multimedia platforms, and instructional design methodologies. * Demonstrated ability to assess needs, design solutions, and implement effective training programs. * Experience leveraging enterprise systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, Mineral) to support learning, compliance, and employee development. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. * Physical ability to lift up to 15 pounds, as needed.
