This role requires a NYS Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine License with injection certification, with MRI experience strongly preferred. The technician will work an overnight schedule supporting patient care across radiology and MRI modalities while ensuring accuracy, safety, and adherence to hospital standards.Key Responsibilities, • Perform MRI, radiology, or cardiology imaging procedures according to clinical protocols and safety guidelines., • Follow proper injection protocols when administering contrast agents (in accordance with NYS certification requirements)., • Ensure high-quality imaging output to support accurate diagnosis and care planning., • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver timely patient care., • Maintain equipment cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness., • Document imaging activities in accordance with facility requirements and charting protocols (Epic)., • Uphold all hospital policies, patient safety standards, and confidentiality regulations.Required Experience, • NYS Radiologic Technologist License or Nuclear Medicine License with injection certification (required)., • 2+ years of MRI experience preferred., • Experience working in a hospital or clinical imaging environment., • Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts consistently.Nice-to-Have Experience, • Experience handling multiple imaging modalities beyond MRI., • Comfort working in high-acuity or fast-paced hospital environments.Required Skills, • Proficiency in MRI scanning procedures and safety standards., • Strong technical imaging knowledge., • Ability to follow strict clinical protocols and maintain accuracy under pressure.Preferred Skills, • Capability to assist in cardiology or radiologic imaging as needed., • Effective communication and teamwork abilities., • Comfortable using Epic for charting and documentation.Additional Skills / Notes, • No locals permitted (must reside >75 miles from facility)., • Scrub color: Any combination of navy and white.
