This travel technologist role is ideal for nuclear medicine technologists seeking hospital-based experience with SPECT/CT and PET/CT systems.\n \n\nJob Details — Nuclear Medicine Travel Job\n\n • Location: Dallas, TX 75235 (hospital radiology / nuclear medicine department)\n, • Position Type: Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) — hospital-based\n, • Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (March 25, 2026 – June 24, 2026)\n, • Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday\n, • Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed\n, • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,380–$2,550 per week\n, • On-site: Yes — clinical radiology/nuclear medicine role\n, • On-call / Weekend: Schedule to be determined by facility\n, • Equipment: Gamma cameras, SPECT/CT, PET/CT, nuclear medicine computers, cardiac stress equipment\n\n\nJob Requirements — Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)\n\n, • Minimum 2 years of current Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience in clinical or hospital settings\n, • Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from Texas Medical Board (MRT accepted for Texas)\n, • Current ARRT certification with Nuclear Medicine (ARRT(N)) or CNMT within 6 months of hire\n, • American Heart Association BLS certification\n, • Experience with Siemens and Spectrum Imaging equipment highly preferred\n, • Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine technology, radiopharmacy basics, radiation safety, physics, chemistry, and biomedical sciences\n, • Ability to administer intramuscular and intravenous injections and start IV lines; experience with radiopharmaceutical administration\n, • Proficiency operating Gamma cameras, SPECT/CT and PET/CT scanners, nuclear medicine information systems, and cardiac stress testing\n, • Basic knowledge of nuclear medicine therapeutic treatments and EKG for cardiac studies\n, • Required documents: resume, discipline-specific skills checklist, two supervisory references from the last year, and proof of taxable address\n, • Disclosure required for any previous employment history at Parkland\n\n\nResponsibilities — Clinical & Technical\n\n, • Perform quality control, calibration, and routine maintenance on nuclear medicine equipment and devices; troubleshoot imaging systems and accessories\n, • Operate SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and gamma camera systems to acquire diagnostic nuclear medicine images\n, • Handle, document, and track receipt/disposition of radioactive materials in compliance with radiation safety and regulatory requirements\n, • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to determine appropriate imaging procedures and protocols for patients\n, • Provide professional patient care during imaging procedures, including IV starts, radiopharmaceutical administration, and cardiac stress testing\n, • Document laboratory operations, quality control data, patient procedures, and medical records in the nuclear medicine information system\n, • Exercise independent judgment to perform scheduled examinations and ensure compliance with established clinical guidelines and accreditation standards\n, • Identify and implement process improvements to support departmental goals and enhance patient and provider satisfaction\n, • Provide clinical instruction and mentorship to radiology students, residents, and junior technologists\n, • Stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine, participate in continuing education, and engage with professional organizations\n GHR Healthcare - Travel Job ID #466809.
