Job Description ob Summary The Compounder is responsible for accurately blending, mixing, and compounding flavor and fragrance formulas according to established batch records and quality standards. This role ensures products are manufactured safely, consistently, and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company procedures. Key Responsibilities • Compound flavors and fragrances by accurately weighing, measuring, and blending raw materials per batch formulas, • Follow batch records, SOPs, and production schedules to ensure on-time manufacturing, • Verify raw materials, lot numbers, and quantities prior to use, • Operate mixing, blending, and compounding equipment safely and efficiently, • Perform in-process quality checks and report any deviations or inconsistencies, • Maintain accurate production documentation, including batch records and inventory usage, • Clean, sanitize, and maintain compounding equipment and work areas in compliance with GMP standards, • Adhere to all safety policies, including PPE requirements and proper chemical handling, • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or manufacturing training preferred, • Previous compounding, blending, or manufacturing experience preferred (flavor, fragrance, food, cosmetic, or pharmaceutical industries a plus), • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise formulas and instructions, • Basic math skills for weighing, measuring, and conversions, • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods, • Manufacturing and laboratory-adjacent production setting, • Exposure to aromatic compounds and raw materials, • Requires adherence to safety, quality, and sanitation protocols
