Job Description Position Summary: To be successful as a Finance and Administration Manager, you should have a familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong financial analysis skills. The candidate should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable with independent work. In addition to providing financial reporting, planning and analysis, this person will support the day-to-day process for AP, AR, inventory, and general ledger, and provide necessary coverage on processing transactions when needed. The position relies heavily on analytical abilities and experience to sort through data and prepares meaningful information to assist management with decision making, financial deliverables, and business performance metrics and reports. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Deliver all required finance/accounting data accurately and on time., • Perform accurate month-end financial close process including journal entries, account reconciliations as well as standard corporate reporting requirements., • Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data., • Maintain and reconcile accurate balance sheets and general ledger accounts., • Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures., • Perform customer account billing on a bi-weekly, weekly, or monthly schedule., • Collect, analyze, and summarize account information to prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and records., • Identify, research, and reconcile unusual items within financial records., • Conduct audits and document verification, as necessary., • Compile and analyze account information to prepare and record entries for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses. Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required., • CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred., • Familiarity with industry-specific software, • Familiarity with GAAP., • Prior experience within Aerospace & Defense industry a plus, • A highly productive self-starter with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence., • Prior exposure to US tax processes., • Strong financial analysis skills., • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal., • Strong organizational and skills., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.Company DescriptionWorking with government and private industry, RMCI is on the cutting edge of vehicle health monitoring technologies and systems.
