TERMINAX, a fast-growing provider of high-performance automotive films, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support our U.S. and Canada employees and day-to-day human resources operations. This position will manage a broad range of HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and employee recordkeeping. \n The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, comfortable working independently, and able to support employees and managers in a dynamic, growing organization. \n \n Responsibilities \n Human Resources \n\n • Managing full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation\n, • Coordinating employee onboarding, orientation, background checks, Form I-9 completion, E-Verify, and employment documentation\n, • Managing employee offboarding, including separation documentation, benefit notifications, system access coordination, and return of company property\n, • Preparing and reviewing payroll-related information, including timekeeping records, overtime, PTO, bonuses, commissions, allowances, deductions, and employee changes\n, • Administering employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans\n, • Maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS information throughout the employee lifecycle\n, • Supporting performance management, employee coaching, corrective actions, workplace investigations, and other employee relations matters\n, • Responding to employee questions regarding policies, payroll, benefits, leave, and other HR matters\n, • Supporting compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, particularly California requirements\n, • Assisting with compensation reviews, commission administration, organizational planning, and other HR projects\n, • Organizing employee engagement activities, company events, team lunches, and team-building programs\n\n Office Administration \n\n • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Irvine office and maintaining an organized, professional workplace\n, • Ordering and maintaining office, kitchen, and general workplace supplies\n, • Coordinating with building management, maintenance providers, cleaners, internet providers, and other office vendors\n, • Coordinating office access, keys, security systems, visitor access, and employee workspace arrangements\n, • Supporting the purchase, assignment, tracking, and return of company equipment and other assets\n, • Supporting leadership and employees with general administrative and operational matters\n, • Performing other HR, office administration, and business support duties as assigned\n\n \n Qualifications \n\n • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred\n, • 1-3 years of progressive human resources experience, preferably in a small or growing company\n, • Working knowledge of federal and California employment laws and HR compliance requirements; Canada experience is a plus\n, • Experience with recruiting, onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and employee relations\n, • Experience using HRIS, payroll, applicant tracking, and timekeeping systems; Rippling experience is a plus\n, • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and confidential employee records\n, • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities\n, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n, • Sound judgment and ability to handle sensitive employee matters with discretion and professionalism\n, • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees, managers, and external vendors\n, • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required\n\n \n Compensation and Benefits \n\n • Competitive compensation based on experience\n, • Employer-sponsored health insurance\n, • Dental and vision insurance\n, • 401(k) plan with employer matching\n, • Paid time off, sick leave, and company holidays\n\n
