Job Description Reports To: Accounting Supervisor Job Type: Full-Time Hours per Week: 40+ Location: Irving, TX Hourly Pay Range: $20 – $23 General Description The Accounting Assistant plays a key role in ensuring billing accuracy and maintaining the integrity of financial data within Salesforce. This position is based in Irving, TX, and involves verifying hotel information, auditing invoices and folios, and ensuring that all client charges are accurately recorded. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating directly with hotels to confirm and correct billing details. Responsibilities and Duties • Verify the accuracy of hotel information in Salesforce through regular phone calls and follow-ups., • Review and audit hotel folios/invoices for accuracy and completeness., • Monitor and verify virtual card transactions to ensure all charges are properly recorded., • Upload folios and submit billing lines in Salesforce., • Manage and organize the Accounts Payable (AP) email inbox., • Prepare and complete assigned billing reports promptly., • File, organize, and maintain financial and billing records., • Work with hotels to make necessary adjustments to folios., • Print and complete daily billing reports (e.g., Check-In/Check-Out Today, Check-In Yesterday)., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy., • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills., • Strong communication and phone etiquette., • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
