Job DescriptionJob Description JOB DETAILS Base Pay Range: $26.50 - $34.50 per hour Shift Hours: 4:30 pm - 1:00 am, hours may vary depending on operations. (Training may occur during Day Shift 6:00 am - 2:30 pm) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Understands and follows all safety rules and precautions necessary for working with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical apparatus, • Deals with complex factors and makes decisions based on conclusions and findings, • Installs and repairs various electrical equipment, including generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units and conduit systems. Works with blueprints, drawings, layouts, verbal instructions and other specifications, • Uses different welding equipment (arc, acetylene, brazing, and flame cutting) for lay out and fitting, including making jigs and fixtures, • Uses electricians’ hand tools and measuring/testing equipment, • Diagnoses and corrects trouble in the electrical system or equipment, applying standard computations related to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, • Performs visual and mechanical inspections to maintain machinery in good condition ensuring the production of finished quality products to order specifications, • Follows the preventive maintenance program established by the company and conducts equipment inspections, taking preventative action when necessary, • Performs minor and major repairs on buildings, • Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment, • Provides on-the-job direction to new maintenance mechanics and others assisting in maintenance work, • Contributes to continuous improvement efforts in work area, • Ensure compliance of applicable Safety Standards and procedures, • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, • Execute equipment repair procedures, • Ensure good housekeeping in work areas, • Enter equipment repair history and close out work orders, • Update repair procedures if needed, • May be assigned additional projects or dutiesQualifications, • High School Diploma or recognized equivalent, • Minimum of 1-3 years of related work experience in a maintenance mechanic function, or equivalent related experience, • Preferred experience as an Electrical Controls Technician in an industrial manufacturing facility, • Demonstrated commitment to electrical safety, strong troubleshooting skills, decision making skills, problem analysis and conflict management skills, particularly in pressure situations, • Knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC and applicable OSHA standards, • Hydraulics Experience, • Pneumatics Experience, • Proficient in reading and understanding electrical diagrams and technical manuals, • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist Additional Information Site Address: 14031 W Hardy Rd., Houston, TX 77060 This is a position with the potential overtime. Job DescriptionEnvironmental Health and Safety Manager | $95,000-$105,000 | M-F 8-5 | On-site | Direct Hire What Matters Most • Competitive Pay of $95,000-$105,000 annually, • Schedule: M-F 8AM-5PM, • Location: Houston, TX, • Lead and manage all safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable state regulations, • Oversee environmental compliance efforts in alignment with EPA and local agency standards, • Conduct incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions, • Maintain OSHA logs and manage all required regulatory reporting, • Perform routine safety audits, job hazard analyses, and facility inspections, • Develop and deliver safety training programs for supervisors and operational staff, • Ensure compliance with safety programs including powered industrial trucks, lockout/tagout, fall protection, hazard communication, PPE, and emergency preparedness, • Oversee waste handling processes, spill prevention measures, and environmental documentation, • Track, analyze, and report key safety metrics (e.g., TRIR, DART, near misses, corrective actions), • Supervise and develop the EHS Coordinator, • Partner with operations leadership to promote and sustain a strong safety cultureQualifications and Requirements:, • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred, • 7+ years of EHS experience within industrial distribution or similar operational environments, • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety programs, • Working knowledge of environmental compliance standards and regulatory requirements, • Experience managing regulatory inspections, audits, and reporting processes, • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred, • Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, or similar credentials are a plus, • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, • Ability to influence safety culture and partner effectively with operations leadershipBenefits and Perks:, • $95,000 - $105,000 salary, • Medical Benefits, • Holidays
