Important Steps Inc. is an Early Intervention Program (EIP) with 2locations in Bronx and Midwood Brooklyn. We provide services to children in all 5 NYC boroughs. We currently have positions available for monolingual and bilingual SP-ED Teachers, SWs (Social Workers), STs (Speech Therapists), PTs (Physical Therapists), OTs (Occupational Therapists) and COTAs (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants) in BROOKLYN , STATEN ISLAND , BRONX, QUEENS and MANHATTAN . Part-time, full-time, and per-diem positions are available. We offer highly competitive rates for all service providers, up to $85/hr. for hard to staff zip codes. Healthcare benefits are available for full-time employees. NEW GRADS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME! Bilingual (Russian, Uzbek, Urdu, Spanish, French-Creole) is a plus but not required. ST, PT, OT/COTAs positions must have a NYS license in their given field. SP-ED Teachers & SWs (Social Workers) must have the following NYS certifications: - for Teachers: Special Education Teacher (Birth-Grade 2) or Teacher of Students with Disabilities (Birth-Grade 2). - for Social Workers: LMSW or LCSW. - Provide excellent customer service to all patrons of the Water Hazard Bar + Lounge - Monitor and uphold qualify of service and products, ensuring they meet the style, culture, and cuisine. - Adhere to food and safety guidelines - Address and resolve any issues related to customer service or product quality - Familiarize yourself and adopt training protocols and all food and beverage descriptions for staff - Oversee inventory, stock control, and reporting - Ensure all equipment is well-maintained, serviced, and troubleshoot as needed - Maintain clean working areas - Enforce zero tolerance policy regarding alcohol consumption on premises, documenting and reporting any policy violations to the General Manager - Schedule, supervise, and support staff - Provide additional support to team as needed during busy times - This is not a comprehensive list of responsibilities, which can change at any time at the discretion of your supervisor. - Previous experience as Shift Supervisor, Head Bartender, or similar role, hospitality industry preferred - Experience working as a bartender - Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner - Understanding of industry safety standards - Ability to lead with integrity and approachability - Ability to work with a team - Strong communication skills - A flexible schedule and ability to work nights and weekends as needed - Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, such as being on your feet for long periods of time and lifting up to 60 pounds

Key Responsibilities: ● Dishwashing: ○ Utilize 3 compartment sink to wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchenware efficiently. ○ Sort, stack, and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas. ○ Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is functioning properly. ○ Maintain/clean/schedule grease trap cleaning ● Kitchen Assistance: ○ Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients. ○ Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and keeping track of ingredients. ○ Clean and sanitize workstations, counters, and kitchen equipment as required. ○ Maintenance or refrigerator, freezer and dry storage organization ○ Assist in maintaining a safe and organized kitchen environment. ● Team Collaboration: ○ Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
