POSITION SUMMARY As a Camp Educator, you will bring your enthusiasm for play-based, inclusive STEAM learning to life by guiding socially and emotionally engaged campers through hands-on, inquiry-rich experiences. You will facilitate Thinkery’s curriculum in a culturally responsive way, helping campers see STEAM as a connected process while exploring problem-solving, technology, and creativity. Working alongside 1–2 fellow educators, you’ll support groups of up to 20 campers in grades Pre-K–3rd, creating a fun, safe, and memorable camp experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Implement and deliver Thinkery’s STEAM learning curriculum, adapting it as needed to improve the camper experience or accommodate individual campers., • Follow all health and safety protocols., • Read, review, and be prepared to deliver camp content., • Model hands-on, inquiry-based facilitation techniques for entire staff., • Lead a joyful camp experience for children ages 4-9., • Provide leadership, energy and camp spirit, constantly assessing group dynamics and the needs of individual campers., • Interact with and ensure safety of kids on-site and on field trips. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee custom fabrication and event build projects from estimate through installation. This role supports our shop, creatives, and clients by coordinating timelines, assigning resources, managing materials, and ensuring the final product meets ASA’s standards for quality and craftsmanship. Candidates should have hands-on fabrication knowledge, strong communication skills, and experience coordinating diverse creative and technical teams. Key Responsibilities Project Management & Coordination * Lead projects from scoping and estimating through fabrication, installation, and strike. * Serve as the communication hub between clients, designers, fabricators, subcontractors, event producers, and suppliers. * Provide regular updates to internal teams and clients, ensuring everyone has the information needed to stay aligned. * Communicate changes, scope adjustments, and cost or timeline impacts promptly and clearly. * Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors on specialty components, outsourced fabrication, or field work. Estimating, Planning & Materials * Create accurate estimates by calculating labor hours, materials, fabrication techniques, and installation needs. * Translate creative concepts and drawings into actionable production plans and schedules. * Order materials, track deliveries, and maintain communication with suppliers to ensure components arrive on time. * Make informed decisions about material selection based on project goals, structural needs, and fabrication methods.
