Job Description Swing Education is looking for a VP Finance to lead the financial strategy of a high-growth K-12 marketplace at a pivotal moment. You'll report directly to the CEO, sit on the executive team, and own the full finance function — from FP&A and forecasting to investor relations and capital strategy. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll build the financial infrastructure to support a business on a path to profitability, working closely with a world-class investor group and board. One day you're deep in the financial model, stress-testing assumptions; the next you're leading a strategic conversation with the exec team and board. You know what a scaled-up company should look like, but you're still willing and able to roll up your sleeves to get things done., • FP&A mastery: Forecasting, planning, and financial analytics are second nature to you. You specialize in building models and processes that consistently deliver accurate financials, reliable forecasts, and actionable insights for decision-making., • Strategic communication: You tailor your message to the audience — board decks, investor updates, bank reporting, and company-wide communications all come naturally. You can translate complex financial information into clear narratives., • Accounting fluency: You don't need to be a CPA, but you're comfortable overseeing and signing off on the monthly close process, managing GL entries and accruals, and driving annual audits to completion., • Investor and board experience: You've worked hands-on with venture and PE investors. You know how to manage a board relationship and navigate the full range of governance, reporting, and strategic issues that come with an institutional investor base., • Debt and banking relationships: You can manage venture debt facilities, bank reporting, covenant compliance, and the ongoing information exchange that lenders require., • Impact: This is a critical leadership role and a key seat on the exec team. We are hiring a Systems Engineer in our New York City office. About the Role: You will be responsible for Level 1 and 2 Help Desk Support for Windows and Mac devices, supporting enterprise networking and Applecart office expansion. Additionally, you will assist with core systems administrations, systems automation and scripting using python. In this position, you will work with HR, Business Operations, Office Management, and Platform teams. This role will report to the Director of Information Systems and Technology. What You'll Do: • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal technical support., • Support daily Applecart office operations alongside operations teams., • Improve security and automation posture., • 3+ years of experience in IT Systems Administrator or similar role., • Hands-On + Remote Help Desk experience (Zendesk, Freshworks, ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk, etc.), • Strong administration experience (Okta, Google Workspace (GAM), Slack, MS Office), • Device management experience with Windows and macOS (Apple Business Manager, Jamf, Kandji/Iru, MaaS360, Intune, Hexnode, JumpCloud, Workspace ONE), leveraging service for an automated OOBE., • Enterprise networking experience (Juniper, Unify, Meraki, Cisco)., • SSO integration experience (Okta, OneLogin)., • Python scripting experience (PyCharm, VSCode, GitHub (no AI IDEs Cursor, Tailwind, Manus)) to automate repetitive tasks., • Experience supporting SOC 2 audits or similar compliance frameworks., • AWS/public cloud certification is a plus., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Impeccable attention to detail and superior organizational skills This is a hybrid role. Work from home on Monday and Friday and in Applecart's New York City office Tuesday through Thursday. Compensation: Our compensation package consists of three components: (i) a base salary, (ii) annual cash bonus, and (iii) generous equity compensation. The base salary range for this role is between $95,000 - $125,000, based on the candidate's experience and skills relative to the requirements listed above. The salary range provided is exclusive of discretionary annual cash bonus and equity compensation. The salary range provided for this role is specific to candidates located in the New York City area.
