Job Description Pharmacy Support Associate / Clerk (Onsite - Cheektowaga, NY 14227) Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour, paid biweekly Schedule: 24–32 hours per week Mandatory Days: Fridays and Sundays Work Hours: • Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, • Monday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM, • Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM, • Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Position Overview The Pharmacy Clerk is responsible for accurately and efficiently filling prescription requests in a high-volume, automated refill environment. Working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, this role involves preparing, packaging, sorting, and distributing medications while maintaining accuracy, speed, and compliance with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities • Accurately fill prescription vials with tablets or capsules according to prescription orders., • Retrieve and process Unit of Use and bulk medication items., • Replenish automated dispensing systems to full capacity., • Verify medication strength, dosage, and labeling prior to packaging., • Use handheld scanners to process product barcodes for replenishment., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment., • Uphold HIPAA and pharmacy privacy standards., • Prepare and pack prescriptions for shipping following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)., • Maintain consistent workflow to meet production goals., • High school diploma or GED required., • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand or walk for an 8+ hour shift., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks., • Basic math, reading, and writing skills., • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment., • Visual acuity for reading computer screens and medication labels., • Good computer and data entry skills; warehouse experience is a plus.
