Job Description We are seeking a Hydraulic Mechanic to join our team at Calibrated Products Inc. You will repair and test hydraulic components to ensure they meet high performance standards. This role involves bench type mechanical work on specialized hydraulic systems used in railroad, industrial, and maintenance applications. Responsibilities • Repair hydraulic pumps, motors, hydrostats, cylinders, and hydraulic tools from major manufacturers including Stanley, Geismar, PortaCo, and Racine, • Troubleshoot and repair defective hydraulic equipment and hydrostatic transmissions, • Perform routine preventative maintenance on hydraulic systems and components, • Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion to minimize customer downtime, • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures in the machine shop and service center, • Utilize hydraulic test stands to verify performance up to 6,000 PSI and 100 GPM, • Inspect and repair hydraulic hoses, couplings, and fittings, • Previous bench type mechanic experience specifically with hydraulic components, • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for hydraulic systems, • Employee to furnish their own basic tools, • Ability to handle physical workload and lift up to 50 lbs, • Experience with various pump and motor brands such as Sundstrand, Rexroth, Eaton, and Parker, • Knowledge of hydraulic cylinder repair and custom fabrication processes, • High school diploma or GED, • Commitment to quality workmanship and customer serviceCompany DescriptionWith over 20 years of dedicated service, Calibrated Products Inc.
