Job Description: The Enteral Admission Coordinator is responsible for the processing and coordination of all new referrals with the main objective being to clear all patients prior to service in order to ensure proper payment in compliance within all legal and regulatory parameters. This person will ensure accurate, efficient and timely processing of new referrals for Enteral services to include, but not be limited to, obtaining all necessary supporting documentation, confirming insurance coverage, coding and pricing of products, documenting patient in applicable computer system, submitting for pre-authorization and coordinating of initial “pushing” of the referral. The Enteral Admission Coordinator provides support and works collaboratively with referral sources, hospital liaisons, the pharmacy, nursing, and billing and branch personnel. Job Description: The Regional Director of Nursing (RDON) coordinates provision of infusion services to maintain compliance by directing professional practices, company policies and procedures, standards of practice, local, state, and federal rules and regulations, and accreditation standards for the assigned services and areas. The RDON will initially focus on New York state with likely, future expansion to other states anticipated. The RDON organizes, plans, implements, and evaluates agency services, programs and activities, with oversight of subcontracted services. Ensures adequate, effective, efficient, and appropriate delivery of services to maintain quality day-to-day care for all clients, which includes the ability to troubleshoot infusion-related problems remotely. The RDON is also responsible for representing BioMatrix infusion nursing with referral sources in a professional and persuasive manner. The primary purpose is to plan, organize, develop, and direct in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and current standards of practice that govern the assigned services and facilities, and may be advised by the Chief Clinical Officer and/or Medical Director, if applicable, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. The Regional Director of Nursing Services is an RN, BSN who has graduated from an accredited school of nursing and is currently licensed to practice in the State of residence. They supervise infusion services regulations and accreditation standards and strives to provide the highest quality of care in their assigned area. This role is ideal for someone who knows New York State payer rules and has hands-on experience working medical claims from start to finish. You'll handle follow-ups on aging accounts, resolve denials, post payments, and collaborate with other departments to ensure clean, timely billing. What You'll Do * Work aging reports and follow up on outstanding insurance and patient balances. * Submit appeals for denied or underpaid claims; resolve rejections quickly and accurately. * Contact insurance companies, patients, and third-party payers to resolve billing issues. * Accurately post payments, adjustments, and write-offs within set timelines. * Maintain current knowledge of payer policies (Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial). * Document all account activity and maintain up-to-date patient records in the billing system. * Partner with coding, front office, and medical records teams to resolve claim issues. * Meet productivity and collection targets consistently. * Provide excellent customer service when addressing patient inquiries. * Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all organizational and regulatory requirements.
