Job Description As a Security Officer- CRE Access Patrol in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more . As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, managing access points, and verifying credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry and security-related incidents. You will interact with tenants, visitors, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while remaining visible throughout your shift. This position requires comfort with technology, as you will use computers and/or tablets to document activities and incidents. If you meet the driving requirements, you may also be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your duties. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.37 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites, • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education, • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams, • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service, • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities., • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals., • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner., • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity., • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual activities according to site protocols., • Communicate professionally with visitors, tenants, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed., • Availability across various days and shifts, • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments, • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company, • A valid driver's license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements., • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred., • Customer service experience is preferred., • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred., • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred., • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles., • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent., • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws., • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws., • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law., • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment., • Flexible Scheduling: Choose from a variety of open shifts that align with your availability and lifestyle., • Career Growth: Clear path to full-time roles and ongoing advancement through paid training programs., • Smart Tools: Access exclusive technology for real-time shift visibility and claiming., • Full-Time Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k) plans, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.
